Wilder has been outboxed and hurt multiple times - As AJ has been hurt multiple times.

Thinking the heavyweight champ (either) is scared of the other is absolutely brain dead ridiculous. they wouldn't have gotten this far if they were scared.
Aj & hearn are scared of losing cuz then that lowers his $market$ and they DON'T want that.

Honestly? I think it suits both sides, they each have an interest in pushing the take from this fight as far as they can, although it suits Hearn more as AJ is the younger fighter and they continue to earn big whilst this fight builds.

Mate, Wilder’s side KNEW the clock was ticking, held onto the deal for almost a week with no communication, and then said they were sending it back FIVE days later. The WBA were the ones that ordered the fight, and you can’t blame AJ for not wanting to be stripped cos Wilder doesnt want it.

Facts is, Wilders side ****ed around for ages - this is an easy fight to make if Wilder wants it.

          COMMUNICATE.

No he didn’t. The 50m offer was rejected just like the 12.5m was rejected. Those were irrelevant. Call his bluff and sign a contract, don’t give Hearn or Joshua any room, but he didn’t:

It’s pretty much simple. Call his bluff so he has no where to run. If you have agreed to the offer then get that contract signed ASAP. Hearn would have zero area to run to.

It depends on which side you want to believe, according to Team Wilder no date, no venue, according to Team Joshua that was communicated to them. And Team Wilder never had a problem with that.

-Finkel was told the fight was in Cardiff.
-Finkel was told the date would be somewhere in between October and November.
-Finkel must have been happy with this situation when he requested the contract.
-Finkel was told there would be no rematch clause for Wilder if Joshua won.

This is one of the comments raised by Finkel and he was happy to concede. This was the offer Wilder publically agreed to anyway so it shouldn't have even been a problem.

It was in the contract that Anthony Joshua MUST fight Deontay Wilder next. All he had to do was sign and send it back and it was legally locked in. Hearn could then apply for exemption from the WBA.

Finkel recieved the contract. Kept it for 6 days without getting back to Hearn. Then claimed he would send it back in another 5 days time with comments DESPITE BEING HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING IN THE CONTRACT. He didn't even specify whether this would be a SIGNED contract. Check the Dan Rafael article, these are Finkels own words, not lies from Hearn.

Seeing this press release, the WBA took action and decided they could not give Hearn anymore time to conclude the deal.

Hearn has dared Finkel to put this contract online for all to see, so there's just no way he's lying here.

I only think they are stalling out of fear of only losing cuz when fighters lose in this game so do their pockets. It's why bob never wanted Manny to fight Floyd cuz bob knew Floyd would beat Manny. After winning Floyd kept setting records while Manny ended up on espn.
