Just like when you see a genuine or drug addict psychcopath going crazy on the street and someone needs to knock him out. You are normally confident and back your own abilities, but you don't want that work.
Wilder is so confident (wanting to fight immediately) and genuinely a little crazy (fought VOLUNTARY and had HUGE comeback against Ortiz) that AJ is staring at the pyscho on the street and doesn't want that work.Comment

Tell me which one of his fights Wilder looked so monstrous in that AJ would be scared.Just like when you see a genuine or drug addict psychcopath going crazy on the street and someone needs to knock him out. You are normally confident and back your own abilities, but you don't want that work.

Congratulations, your posting will be taken as proof of a job well done by the parties seeking to build this fight.I haven’t posted in what, ten years? But when I caught wind that the Joshua vs Wider negotiations fell through, I knew it was because Joshua didn’t want the fight. THEN, I do my reading to find out that my gut feeling was ****ing spot on. WHY IS HE SCARED? Isn’t he supposed to be the bigger, more technical, more proven fighter? I’m tired of “boxing politics” being used as a shield for scared ass fighters. If you don’t want to fight the best out there then hang the ****in gloves up... end rant
When it happens as it surely will there will be a need for narratives, AJ's side has them as he's been astutely marketed by people that understand modern marketing for quite some time now.
Wilder's side however has singularly failed to engage his domestic market in the way that would translate to the sort of earnings targeted.
However, now we can see the outline of a story that can separate the sporting fans of the US from their hard earned dollars.
Wilder, the plucky brave guy that's all about the challenge and the glory, the guy who will take on anyone, anywhere. He can't realise his dream because of a dastardly English sleazeball who has somehow managed to snaffle all the belts for his cowardly, protected, faux champion.
Brave Wilder has tried everything to face him in the ring but wicked General Cornwallis, sorry Eddie Hearn, has manipulated the system at every turn. How can this brave young American prevail in the face of such British duplicity?
Good news my friend, you will get the chance to find out, will cost you seventy bucks times three once these narratives have been thoroughly embedded in the US fight fans collective psyche.

I don't want to get dragged into a debate over Ortiz or his age. Fact is he was the boogey man for a while (knocking Jennings out when Klitchko couldn't). He was a risky fight he didn't need to take and almost knocked Wilder spark out. Wilder came back and knocked Ortiz out. I think that would be on AJ's mind when evaluating how a fight might pan out between the two of them.Comment

Tremendous fight! I loved it. But let's not pretend as if Wilder looked crazy good, he got hit a lot in that fight and I'm sure we can all agree - just like with AJ/Klitschko - that if it was AJ hitting Wilder with combos he wouldn't be standing for long.I don't want to get dragged into a debate over Ortiz or his age. Wilder has been outboxed and hurt multiple times - As AJ has been hurt multiple times.
Thinking the heavyweight champ (either) is scared of the other is absolutely brain dead ridiculous. they wouldn't have gotten this far if they were scared.Comment
