If you have followed this whole soap oprah over the last year or so, you know that Hearn would do everything in his power to delay it as long as possible.
If I were Wilder, I would just berate Hearn and Joshua at every turn, and claim himself as the undisputed heavyweight because they didn't want to fight. It means little, I know, but would irritate the heck out of team Joshua until next year.
ANY boxer that turns down a guaranteed $50 million plus a % WTF??? Does anyone even have a logical answer for that?
In the end? Maybe it was the WBC's mandate of random drug testing that scared team AJ off, knowing they may not pass?
Solution - forget Joshua and try to line up Tyson Fury for next year instead. It would be nearly as big of a fight.
