Nor do you have a venue up in there. He’s sending the contract saying ‘Just sign it’. And then another thing that was up in there was talking about if I beat Joshua he gets a rematch, but if he beats me then it’s up to him to decide if there was a rematch.

‘Nah, it’s either going to [both of us having rematch clauses] or none at all. There is going to a rematch or no rematch at all. It’s crazy.

‘How you going to send a contract like that? It was simple things that they could not answer. It ain’t that they couldn’t, it’s that they wouldn’t.

Now we know what issues they had with the contract. I’m sure aj fans will try and justify that bs tho

On the other issue. I've been watching Wilder's social media a bit. He's been getting crazy growth in followers relative to other US boxers since his last fight. There's no way $15 million will work lol I expect his next fight will clear 1 million prime time views again. His value is only going up at this point. Hearn is either trolling or building in an excuse to further the marination plot.
I think it's a bit of both. I think he really hopes Wilder bites on the lowball offer for April. He will then ask Wilder to sign with him after he beats Joshua.

Its not a big deal this fight was just never meant to be next and both sides knew it. Wilder's side wants it more now obviously because they have more to gain and was willing to take some calculated risks that they knew were not likely to be called and Wilder will not accept the deal he was willing to accept now again. So it is going to cost Hearn to wait and he knows that, which is the only reason it took so long.

The fight is worth more now than it was and even if one of them flubs it up it is still a big money (not as much but still better than most fights) fight for either because their names are linked.

One side wanted it more but they are perfectly fine waiting playing the game because Wilder can fight whoever and be fine, no one he will fight is a real risk because there aren't that many big risks are heavy. His position is really only improving with time because he will look great against a stiff like Breazeale.

Wilder and Joshua fight within 15 months from now and that was always how it was going to be, and if anyone gained from this ordeal it was Wilder so it was worth it for him. There is no way Joshua came out ahead in this and he is lucky his fan base is gullible enough that it is a push with them.

I can produce as much paperwork as I want to another party but I can also ignore their questions they are asking if I wanted to. I can also fool the naive public that because I have that paperwork(no matter what nonsense it includes that we the fans don't know about) I can make it LOOK like I really want the fight even though I really don't...

Wilder is playing his part on social media and that will draw in some of the fans turned on by ****fests such as the fake McGregor/Mayweather tour.
the Venue may not be that important I agree but the DATE definitely is. What if the contract says Wilder fight is AFTER Pedvetkin but Wilder is expecting the contract that says they fight NEXT? do you see why the date is important? hell after Wilder signs Hearn can say the fight happens 2 years from now if he wanted to and Wilder would already have signed the contract. I don't know why some trust Eddie Hearn so much

15 million for Wilder is apparently "well below market value." lol what a joke. I can't wait to compare purses for Wilder vs Breazeale and Joshua vs Povetkin. Below market value my ass. Wilder doesn't make any kind of money without Joshua.
