The Point Everyone Misses on Wilder V Joshua

The main point that everyone keeps missing in this so called negotiation. Wilder is advised by some of the smartest men in boxing that have made some of the biggest fights in history. There is no way Haymon and Finkel advised Wilder to take either of Hearn's ****ty offers for a fight of this magnitude. But Wilder made it clear I will shallow a lot crap to make it happen and Haymon and Finkle said ok we will get it done.

Look to the other side and its different. Hearn is just doing what he supposed to do to protect his investment. He is a slimy boxing promoter looking to make as much money as possible as quickly as he can before AJ gets beat. I don't fault him for doing what promoters do. This is all on Anthony Joshua. If he truly believed he could beat Wilder he would be begging to get the fight done. I used to be a fan but he has already admitted out of his own mouth the he fears losing a fight and all that comes with that.

So blame fast Eddie all you want but this is all on AJ

This is a bunch of horse**** to anyone with a brain. Just another 'AJ is ducking because I'm a brainless fanboy' thread.

How do you know he signed?

Even if he did sign, if it's a version of the contract Wilder hadn't approved, who cares? AJ could sign a contract that says Wilder must sacrifice all of his children. If Wilder didn't agree, what's the difference if AJ signed?

To sign an open ended contract that doesn't state if the fight would be next or not?

It doesnt have to be next as long as its put in play .

Signing a contract would have halted the Povetkin mandatory anyone with a brain knows that ( i dare to ask ) and the very least the fight would at least be set with no Wilder games anymore .

Anyway Joshua would have to sign the SAME contract under the guidelines that Wilder /team agree to that includes the finalized stipulations , you were a promoter doe !

You're being ridiculous. Whether the fight is next or not is obviously going to impact whether Wilder is going to accept the deal or not. You're asking him to take a low ball flat fee, and go to the UK, and not even know when the fight is going to be, and sign before even knowing if the fight is going to be next or after an interim fight. When you start to ask that much, it's pretty clear you just don't want the fight.

The A side doesnt beg. The B side should also stop talking about how it isnt about the money yet declined the first offer over money...

I like Wilder but it’s starting to get ridiculous. Aj didnt get wilder so he goes with the next biggest threat that he hasn’t yet fought.

Wilder can keep on can crushing (Except Ortiz) but AJ is not i ly the A side but hes also taking the best fights from Wilder.

Wilder is looking like a child and AJ not giving him the time of day went from annoying from a fan standpoint to now being kind of funny seeing this mini melt down.

Aj gonna go make 20+ mil in a filled stadium vs a legit fighter...what’s Wilder doing?

This is what happens when you dont have leverage.

Wilder should have conceded and won the fight first and then pull his stunts. Lets be real, if AJ stops Wilder no one (public perception) will care about a rematch. It’s only if Wilder wins that the world will take notice.

Wilder needs to play his role and stop coming off as just some guy calling out AJ, because that’s how a lot of people know him as right now.

I love Wilder but its always weird to see guys behave this way with no leverage.
