Meanwhile, Hearn continued to be evasive to stall. Hard to blame this one on Wilder and Finkel. The WBA stuff is a smokescreen. Unification trumps mandatory. You just pay a small fee for an exception. There's no doubt Wilder's side wanted the fight next. They made every concession possible. It still wasn't enough.
Yeah you don’t blame anything on Wilder or Finkel ever.

    That’s called a fanboy.

What is there to blame on them? Like every heavyweight on the planet, they want to fight AJ ASAP because that is the big money fight.

Meanwhile, as the big cash cow, AJ isn't in a hurry to fight the most dangerous fight possible. I don't blame him for that. He's doing the smart thing. Taking his time before the biggest showdown.

Have no problem with the behavior of either team. The issue is UK fans believing every word Hearn says, even when Hearn is lying.

If Finkel lies, point out the lie. What do you think Finkel is lying about?

Deontay Wilder literally said "I'm not going to sign".

Yet you don't question that at all, the first thing you said was "Well I don't see how this could be blamed on Wilder"

        Fanboy. It's absolutely pathetic.

You've been caught many times lying about what other people said. So please link us to Wilder's statement.

Wilder wasn't going to sign without knowing the date because he feared they would still do the Povetkin fight first even if he signed.

            Google it fanboy.

Yeah more excuses. Everything is Hearn's fault, nothing is Wilder's.

            You're boring.

Funny how people defend Eddie Hearn on forums and social media but Boo him every time he is shown on the big screen at his own events to the point that AJ had to ask fans to cheer him

Eddie takes Full Advantage of the PRIDE and the LOYALTY of the UK Fights Fans no different than Oscar does with the great Mexican Fight Fans who rally behind Canelo. They know those fans will be behind them no matter what!

                  Fanboy of who?

We do know details, there's been releases to the press & statements from both promoters

I dont know Finkel, couldnt tell you what he looked like if i walked past him

Finkel should sue Hearn for defamation and libel. They will have written proof of everything they say. Hearn can try to spin the media with statements but these statements should be used to hold the smug cünt accountable for his actions
What details do you, or anyone here knows?

Do you know what was in the $50M contract that Wilder sent? Date? Venue? Ring size? Money guarantee? Guarantor? Funds source? Main promoter? Was the 24 hour "deadline" in writing? Why did Wilder say the contract is still alive 2 weeks after the deadline passed. Did they provide proof of funds that Hearn asked for?

Do you know what Hearn's counter offer was? Flat fee, PPV split? Articles are saying they needed 'clarification' on date and venue. What did the contract actually say? Did it say "whenever we want, whereever we want", or did it say "3Q18-1Q19, major arena in the UK". What else was there? Is a voluntary allowed if their fight isnt until 2019? Were there any other weird stipulations? Wilder's team was made aware that WBA gave Hearn 24 hours to make Povetkin fight. Why didn't they display urgency?

You don't know jack ****. You're making assumptions based off the very limited statements both Finkel and Hearn made to the media.
Wilder fans and Hearn haters will interpret it as AJ ducking. Wilder bashers will run around claiming Wilder never wanted the fight.

Here's a news flash. Neither guy is afraid of each other. Wilder just fought a boogeyman of the HW division for peanuts and no titles to gain. He sure as hell isn't afraid of fighting Joshua for tens of millions of dollars and a a chance to be unified HW champ.
In the same camp, Joshua sure as hell isn't afraid of Wilder. Not only is it a huge money fight for him and a chance to be unified champ, but Wilder looked VERY vulnerable against Ortiz, and Joshua beat Wlad, who's a way better fighter than Wilder.
