Don't know how he is being difficult. He agreed to a 15 million flat rate, which is truly pathetic that he had to agree to that. And whatever the rematch clause was in the end and no matter what was the initial agreement between the two (my point was maybe they had already discussed the rematch and then it was changed on the contract, which he seemed to allude to), they said they would sign the contract.
And as soon as they say that, this 24 hour Povetkin thing comes up. Hmmm. Not buying it.
Yeah, paying over 15 mill to a guy who earns 1.5 mill a fight is truly diabolical. Have a word with yourself will you. How many fighters who couldn't sell tickets, had a resume as poor as his is, and was payed so little have gone on to make that kind of money?Comment

The date would have been Oct or Nov. You know, like Eddie has said numerous times? ?The venue for that time of year would have been Cardiff where they fought Parker.Comment

Was the contract the same as the terms Wilder agreed to? That remains to be seen. There was some rumblings about the rematch clause not being what was agreed to. There was also no date and venue. Wilder's team had been asking Hearn to give them the date.
They also agreed to sign and have the contract in Hearns hands by Friday. Meanwhile, Hearn forgot how to answer emails clarifying the contract and then once they make it clear the contract is coming, the 24 hour Povetkin deal comes up.
Sounds fishy, to say the least. If time was of the essence as both were saying, why was Hearn stalling in answering questions about the contract?Comment

So you're saying there was no back and forth for 4 weeks? That's not true. Pretty sure Wilder already addressed this himself.
The terms of the contract weren't as they were previously presented when Wilder accepted. This was already proven actually.
Seems YOU are lying. They agreed to sign.
I think I just did. I can back up that the terms they agreed to weren't what was in the contract.Comment

Cotto made reportedly over two million in his last fight as far as I remember. His guaranteed purse might have been 700K but he receives money on the backend, Wilder does not.Comment

It is being difficult. Why, how many fighters in history who were the B side had a rematch clause?

Exactly like I said. The terms were a two fight deal. Rematch was part of the terms. When they got the contract, it only stipulated a rematch in case Joshua lost. Just as I said.
Proof:
Video stating Wilder had a problem with the rematch clause not being what was initially agreed to.

Already showed you proof of Finkle saying it was being sent back signed, as well. Why do you ask for proof, and when it's provided, you say the same thing again.Comment
