If your answer is Yes then 🙄
What in my post suggests that I would? When Wilder publicly stated that he is ready to sign, you would have to assume that he is, in fact ready to sign... it just hasn't happened. Don't get me wrong here, I'm as frustrated as anyone else that this fight seems to have evaporated into thin air and I certainly won't be paying to watch AJ and Povetkin as it's substitute; but using only the detail that has been circulated in the media (not internet rumor and assumption) the fact still remains that Wilder hasn't signed. The WBC have stated "It appears the Wilder team have not returned the contract for the fight and therefore we are requesting a date for the Joshua versus Povetkin fight with immediate effect".

      • "I knew I smelt p*ssy but damn, I didn’t know the odor was that strong you coward ass b*tch. Had the world waiting for 3 months, playing games, just for this moment. You’re not a true champion, you’re just a weak minded coward that’s holding hard metal," Wilder stated.
"All they had to do is say they were scared to fight. Period. But instead they made themselves look like what they are, not stand up guys. I'm so happy it's over now. I've done my part, the world seen that, so stay in England." - D.Wilder

        LMMFAO! I smell it too....LMMFAO!

Well, the onus you put on wilder to sign what is essentially a blank contract suggest you think he was fool not to.
Therefore i asked if you'd sign a blank, legally binding contract...like you're suggesting wilder should have

This has all been put to print, the contract date & venue was blank. Essentially a blank, legally binding contract.
There's a massive difference between signing as agreed & then shifting the goalposts & asking to sign in good faith. You don't put your signature to something like that...you'd be a fool to

Or maybe from winning a decision against a tiny fighter like Parker? Joshua is a farce, just because lunitics will pay to see this carny barker dance in the ring against cherry picked opponents doesn't make him the best heavyweight out there. That would be Wilder, Joshua is the best heavyweight in his protected turf of England and there is a very good reason why he stays there
Your a mug if you consider wilder the number heavyweight.....he is a donkey who almost got exposed by a 47 year old heavyweight.
At least klitchcko is proven heavyweight great who when was offerd to wilder ....finkle turned him down saying he is not ready.
Spilka, duhaupas, washington and molina who joshua ate for breakfast had wilder on ***** street.

You do understand that I'm not putting any onus on Wilder to sign right? I'm certainly not calling him a fool either, I won't criticize a boxer for trying to maximize his earnings (which is essentially what this merry-go-round is all about), all boxers deserve whatever they can get for stepping in the ring.
He stated via social media that he agreed to the terms and would sign a contract but when it was sent, he didn't.
Furthermore, I'm not suggesting that Wilder should do anything, I'm simply asking that if the 'reported' points surrounding the venue and dates are such a problem now, then why agree to the terms? They would have known this already; or are you suggesting that EH changed those significant details after Wilder's agreement, before sending the contract? Because that's not what was "put to print" in anything that I have read.
Ultimately we don't know what has been said behind closed doors or between the teams but to totally blame one side, only because you support the other, all without applying as much as a minuscule amount of common sense or logic; well these are without doubt, the actions of the foolish!
For what it's worth, I actually think the scenario of the two meeting next year (with Wilder/Breazeale and AJ/Povetkin next) has been the has been the plan all along. The promoters are just doing their jobs and using this time to build the fight publicly into a mega event.

                    • The worst thing about this situation, other that the fact that it looks like this fight is not happening next, is that the fans are left to hypothesize about why this fight is not happening. From a fan's point of view who just wants to see the fight so we can truly determine who is the #1 heavyweight in the world, this is a huge disappointment. We have Wilder's camp saying one thing and Joshua's camp saying another thing. Since nobody here is actually part of either camp nor present during negotiations, we can only be left to deduce what we think happened.
Wilder and Finkel claim they responded to the contract and received no response from Hearn in return. Joshua and Hearn claim Wilder's camp agreed to terms, requested a contract, and never signed and returned it nor even contacted Matchroom regarding their concerns regarding the terms of the agreement.
Somebody's telling the truth and somebody's lying. Hopefully the truth comes out in the mix and we get a legitimate explanation of WTF actually happened. I trust neither Hearn the promoter nor Wilder's management team. We need a neutral party to step in and confirm or deny all the talk and put a rest the blame game with actual facts of what has happened and what is happening now regarding negotiations.
