Couldn’t make this up.
It never reached the contract stage as offer wasnt accepted by AJ & Hearn
Hearn & AJ then said they wanted home advantage & they would offer wilder.
They then give lowball offer, even boxing media state this! After a review another lowball offer is made. Wilder calls their bluff & accepts.
Hearn then changed the deal. They offered no assurance in the wording of the contract that AJ & Wilder would meet before they fought any other opponent
The date & venue were left blank.
Legally there would have been nothing Wilder could have done if he had signed this blank contract.
Hearn could have filled in the date a year later. Now wilder is locked to even more of a shït deal...with no legal recourse because he signed a blank contract
If hearn had prepared aj behind the scenes for months he coupd have announced the fight on 6 weeks notice. Nothing wilder could have done.
Wilder needed the bogus contract checked by lawyers for fine print. If hearn had put options in the contract on wilder's career then wilder would have no legal recourse

In my opinion, since both sides are blaming each other for the fight not happening, it looked like AJ didn't really want this fight to begin with. I think the big thing was the venue and GGG/Canelo fight being made before this.
AJ wants this fight in Wembley for possible 90,000-95,000 crowd. But you can only fight there in Late April or September.
Also, from the outside it looked like Wilder made the most sacrifices, yeah he's the B side, but he was the Champ before AJ and the only reason AJ has this big draw cause he's from Great Britain where they have a tremendous following compared to USA, also fighting Kilts pushed him to that level, he needed the superstar fighter on the other end.
If the roles were reversed Deontay would've been a star there too
