We have Wilder's camp saying one thing and Joshua's camp saying another thing. Since nobody here is actually part of either camp nor present during negotiations, we can only be left to deduce what we think happened.
Wilder and Finkel claim they responded to the contract and received no response from Hearn in return. Joshua and Hearn claim Wilder's camp agreed to terms, requested a contract, and never signed and returned it nor even contacted Matchroom regarding their concerns regarding the terms of the agreement.
Somebody's telling the truth and somebody's lying. Hopefully the truth comes out in the mix and we get a legitimate explanation of WTF actually happened. I trust neither Hearn the promoter nor Wilder's management team. We need a neutral party to step in and confirm or deny all the talk and put a rest the blame game with actual facts of what has happened and what is happening now regarding negotiations.
That is possibly the most sensible thing that I have read on this topic!

He stated via social media that he agreed to the terms and would sign a contract but when it was sent, he didn't.
Furthermore, I'm not suggesting that Wilder should do anything, I'm simply asking that if the 'reported' points surrounding the venue and dates are such a problem now, then why agree to the terms? They would have known this already; or are you suggesting that EH changed those significant details after Wilder's agreement, before sending the contract? Because that's not what was "put to print" in anything that I have read.
Ultimately we don't know what has been said behind closed doors or between the teams but to totally blame one side, only because you support the other, all without applying as much as a minuscule amount of common sense or logic; well these are without doubt, the actions of the foolish!
For what it's worth, I actually think the scenario of the two meeting next year (with Wilder/Breazeale and AJ/Povetkin next) has been the has been the plan all along. The promoters are just doing their jobs and using this time to build the fight publicly into a mega event.

All the press releases by Hearn were that he was angling for Oct /November date in the UK.
Its not a giant leap to say these were what was agreed by Wilder.
Therefore the contract should have stated exact date tba but agreed in principal for thr months of oct-november 2018
That would have been a contract that adhered to the terms that wilder had agreed to

            • Windmil should fight Tyson to get that lineal “belt”. Joshua vs Windmill fight is not going anywhere, year early year later it will happen. Everyone is acting like one of them is getting old or something. They are two best heavy weights today. Chill.
