What does any of that have to do with trying to move Devon Alexander up the IBF rankings?

Haymon is going to have the top 3 contenders in the IBF at welterweight. That's not a coincidence. That's by design. Haymon's monopoly at welterweight is one of the most important aspects of his business.

He'll take what Haymon gives him. He likely doesn't get a title shot at all. More likely he gets an eliminator and loses.
