Prime Pacquiao vs Crawford or Spence. Who wins?

Common sense here guys. Manny is a 1st ballot HOF'er. He has wins over HOF boxers. but there is a reason he never fought Raheem and avoided Floyd for so long-they are both bigger, more athletic boxers that can move.

Manny always had problems with movement and guys that could box. These mythical fights aren't against plodders like Clottey or Margs just standing in front of Manny.

Spence is just too big and skilled. He would knock prime Manny out brutally. Crawford is too long and would outbox Manny. He might get a late stoppage.

Just too much size and skill for Manny to overcome.

I would give Manny a shot against Spence, it's a tough, tough fight but not beyond him in his prime. Spence can be outsped/outboxed, the size difference and heavy handedness might be a problem too much to overcome, but I wouldn't be so certain. Spence is not super fast on his feet and he doesn't throw with his opponent all that much, he waits. Against Manny he could be waiting all night and getting hit a lot in the interim. Plus I have a sneaky su****ion Spence might be fragile against shots he doesn't see. 50/50 type fight in my opinion. Maybe Spence's size makes it 60-40 In his direction.

Crawford is special, and stylistically I think he would handle Manny in his prime, but again, not a straight forward W. I think Crawford would present Manny with the type of problems he had in Morales 1, and then some.

Floyd picked a good time to fight Shane. When he was on the shelf for a year and a half and already rickety. Outside of the right hand Shane landed, the fight was a dud. You usually come to those type of conclusions after all is said and done.


I give you 24 hours to dig up those posts. While you at it, finally decide whether floyd was carrying McGregor or not.

I agree with much of what you said which is why I think odh could beat Spence but not manny again given the size difference. Spence has shown good moevement and has taken some solid shots from big ww’s Like brook.

I just think the length and size would be too much to overcome given that I see Spence and Crawford as special guys.
