Why would he intentionally rig the event and deny himself a cut of the ESPN PPV money? Bob is greedy, might be petty, but he's definitely not that ****** especially since Pacquiao is at the very end and he won't get too many opportunities to capitalize like that anymore by passing on anyone willing to pay to see an old dog fight.

Also Top Rank and Golden Boy are on working terms since Bob convinced Oscar to fire Schaefer(Also those emails about Haymon being a black supremacist, etc...). They have no choice, otherwise they'll be buried by Haymon.

I agree. For one he is hurt because Manny left him and two he is jealous because Manny is now working with Oscar De La Hoya; A rival competitor.

As far as him saying he would work with Golden Boy to co-promote a Crawford vs a Matthysse fight; It's a bunch of bullshit. That was the main reason why he was against Pac fighting Lucas in the first place because he is promoted by a rival promoter.

In addition, we all know Arum. He likes to keep all his fighters in house among his own stable.

This really isn't true. Bob and Oscar just worked together to make the Lomachenko-Linares fight. I don't see a reason why they couldn't make Crawford vs Matthyse if this Pacquiao fight falls through.

I can see no reason why Mattyste or GBP would take a Crawford fight. Pacquao is 39, a PvP draw, and a winnable fight. Mattyste is in line for a mandatory fight with Thurman, which will be hard to make due to different affiliations both promoter and networks. Crawford is a guaranteed loss for less money. Bob's talking crap, that fight won't be made.

It's true. Bob now perceives Manny as a traitor. He is hurt and gotten his ego bruised, the moment Pac decided to leave him and go independent, while cutting him out of the picture completely.

Pac is now officially a competitor of Top Rank. Therefore, Bob no longer has a vested interest in Manny to succeed.

I bet he is probably working non stop to undermine this promotion by persuading the Malaysian officials that the fight won't sell and that they stand to lose millions of dollars on their investment if this fight proceeds.

Manny isn't signing fighters or stealing Crawford he's doing his own promoting, big difference. Secondly, Bob doesn't need to promote Pac he has TV rights for every Manny fight no matter the promoter.

Lastly, if the fight doesn't happen it's because Manny's promotional team can't generate the $$$ Manny is demanding, period. Bob has nothing to do with that.

Bob is salty because the plan was for Manny to fight he Crawford/Horn winner. Knowing full well Bud would win, he wanted to use PAC as the catapult for Crawford's name and career. Give him a signature win over a faded PPV draw. PAC held his ground and made the Matthysse fight despite Arum's objections.

manny hasnt fully paid his contractually obligated money that was in their contracts and Bob has the ability to cancel this fight and blame it on Mannys Promotion.
