Good post Zamora but I disagree with that last bit. That Corrales beat his wife has nothing to do with his fighting spirit. I mean Carlos Monzon was a monster outside of the ring but he had plenty of heart and discipline when fighting. On the flipside was a guy like Marciano who was a bloodthirsty savage in the ring and would resort to fouls if he felt he needed to, but was a complete gentleman outside of the ring.

I'm not condoning wife beating, but it doesn't make him any less of a boxer.

gatti doesnt have heart? corrales doesnt have heart? floyd doesnt have heart?

last time i checked, arturo gatti faced the two greatest/best fighters of our era oscar de la hoya and floyd mayweather. that alone should show that hes got heart.

corrales keeps getting up from his many KDs and keeps fighting. he even fought a guy who weighed more than him. and he doesnt have heart?

the author of this thread is a ****ing ******.

Guys who have shown a ton of heart who have gotten 0 mentions...

Erik Morales and Miguel Cotto. Not only do these guys take a beating man-style, they both come to fight every time they put on a pair of gloves. Cotto refuses to even go down when he's hurt...anyone who saw how Morales handled his beating against Pacquiao knows that he has huevos the size of Mayheko.
