it was tested a bit against castillo, even though you may not want to admit it, and goyo vargas also tested him, as did chavez, they landed some mean shots on him and to floyds credit at times he came back with something of his own

We won't see that in them until they find an opponent who can dominate, hurt and punish them. A real test of a fighters heart is when you made it out of a very difficult situation and make the best results out of it.

I don't think it has anything to do with fighters hearts, It has more to do with their heads & their management. Most fighters these days dont want to fight the best they want to fight the best they can beat which is a smart move, and their promotors dont want them in fight with guys that'll beat their top fighters, or at least make them look bad. I'm sure if Hatton said he wanted PBF right now, he's manager wouldn't let it happen, why risk it, it's this cautious mentallity that's bringing boxing down, In other words the heart might be there, but the balls & support is lacking.

EXACTLY where everybody misses out even pro.

I dont want to get brain damage for the sack of boxing fans look at Gman where he is now, did any boxing fan remebered him.

The thing boxer going to do is to take one fights that they think they can win and gain money, other than that I wouldnt wanna hurt myself for nothing or get serouisly injured for life, because I have more in life than boxing.

first off - to whoever said that referees are being over-protective - shut the **** up - if you were a ref and you didnt stop a fight and then that fighter died like leavander johnson for example - try having that on your conscience. fighters do have heart these days its just they dont get treated like **** like they did in the old days when they were told when and who they were fighting no matter what.boxers are more cautious these days because they are more aware of the permanent damage boxing can do to you. i agree with other people who said that you need heart to step into the ring first - just because you dont slug it for 12 rounds doesnt mean you dont have heart. the thread starter how can you say that PBF has heart when he has dominated every fight hes been in?corrales is a good fighter but hes a wifebeater so he dont have heart either.

true. Even Mayweather fought most of the time with disadvantage with many like Corrales and Castillo. He is what he is boxing he uses his boxing ability to win rather than brute power
