I think he has more options with Haymon and the PBC. Fighting on Showtime is fine for him, PBC has a lot of fighters and for the big, big fights like with Crawford, Haymon and Bob will work together when there's a lot of money on the table so he's fine.
Being signed to Arum would restrict him way too much and I don't like that ESPN app crap, at least not now when it's still new. Maybe a few years from now when cable really starts to die out at the whole watching TV from your phone thing starts to catch on, then yeah maybe.
People have to understand that superstars in boxing is rare these days. Like really rare so Spence not becoming a superstar isn't a failure by any means. Most people here in America can only name Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, and they might be able to name Golovkin only because he fought Canelo and almost beat him. That's about it, and we all know how many exciting boxers we have today. Boxers these days should stop worrying about becoming a superstar and just focus on making a decent career, winning fights, stacking as much money as possible, and retire before you're 40 and prey you don't get Parkinson's or dimentia. That's it.
