I think he has more options with Haymon and the PBC. Fighting on Showtime is fine for him, PBC has a lot of fighters and for the big, big fights like with Crawford, Haymon and Bob will work together when there's a lot of money on the table so he's fine.

Being signed to Arum would restrict him way too much and I don't like that ESPN app crap, at least not now when it's still new. Maybe a few years from now when cable really starts to die out at the whole watching TV from your phone thing starts to catch on, then yeah maybe.

People have to understand that superstars in boxing is rare these days. Like really rare so Spence not becoming a superstar isn't a failure by any means. Most people here in America can only name Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, and they might be able to name Golovkin only because he fought Canelo and almost beat him. That's about it, and we all know how many exciting boxers we have today. Boxers these days should stop worrying about becoming a superstar and just focus on making a decent career, winning fights, stacking as much money as possible, and retire before you're 40 and prey you don't get Parkinson's or dimentia. That's it.

He does not need a promoter but he could use a media team around him like Loma has. Loma is always coming out with stuff.

Crawford does have a promoter but he needs a media team also.

A media team does not have to be fancy. All you need is a couple people who know how to get you seen.

Errol has spoken and he sounds genuine with his position and nice purses. So like he said " Why bring someone in" ....... I agree! Not everyone is seeking the limelight. Least not yet, lol so until then....... Chill out people!!

This model has created the most sucessful, highest paid, boxer of ALL TIME. Until someone comes up with a better model, this will be the one most boxers attempt
Its like musics evolution, some people need a record company, some people control their own business. But either way I'm happy when a boxer gets as much as he can get for his own hard work.

He doesnt want a long term contract.

There are a lot of advantages to that. Making the crawford fight shouldnt be that hard. If he was signed with GBP for example, or had previously signed with Arum and left him, it would be damn impossible.

Floyd was already a star before he got with Haymon. Haymon has made 0 stars.

Your point being. He'll still be with Al and will get a nice check for them both. Prob more for Spence since being with Pbc (showtime) He'll have the opportunity to hold 3 belts and Al will start there. Cmon man. Quit counting grown men money in public and worrying about his star status. Shyt he said from his own mouth he's cool lol Wtf. Hell we promoting him now. Now TC who I love can fight who next???? Benevidez? I'm lost after that. No superstars right besides Nelo/AJ!!! If you let Ggg fans tell it he's#1.

Very true! He is slightly older than Canelo and no where near the Star Canelo is!

I'm not knocking or hating on Spence. He is really good, but a long way from becoming a PPV star
