Hearn said he would discuss a percentage cut with Wilder's team, and there is no reason to believe he didn't.

Unless you're going to take the attitude - "whatever Hearn says, it's a lie" in which case there's no point trying to discuss it with you.

I'm going with the I didn't hear or read about Hearn mentioning a percentage split attitude. Thus me asking you about it. As for assuming Hearn did something that he didn't try and use as a propaganda tool after doing it, I'd rather not. From Finkel, they have only been offered flat fees.

After Wilder's team rejected his first fixed fee offer, Hearn said he was ready to discuss percentages with them. He then spent quite a while talking to Haymon, before his dad went to the States for a meeting with Finkel.

I can't be sure of course, but I presume that Eddie Hearn and Haymon would have talked about percentages before settling on a new, higher flat fee offer which was then put to Wilder and his manger, Finkel, by Barry Hearn.

You obviously don't even know that the WBC also pulled Ortiz from their rankings, which was why his fight with Wilder was cancelled and Wilder fought Stifferne again instead of him.

Ortiz appealed against the WBC suspending him and was allowed back into their rankings to fight Wilder on another date .. "cough" .. Haymon.

But the WBA stated that he didn't appeal against their suspension, so it stayed in place for 12 months.

Hearn intended to promote a fight between Ortiz and AJ in the UK. That was why he signed Ortiz with Matchroom and gave him an easy fight on AJ's undercard against Dave Allen, who had just had the **** knocked out of him for 10 rounds by Dillian Whyte in his previous fight.

All Ortiz had to do was not get beat and not get popped for PEDs again and he would have been AJ's next mando in line, before Povetkin.

But he decided to sign with Haymon and fight Wilder instead. Probably because he knew he didn't have a hope in hell of beating AJ.

The second AJ turned down a $50M guarantee, he lost all credibility to almost everyone that wouldn’t willingly take a full facial from him. The fact that he shot his mouth off saying he’d sign with no hesitation if he were guaranteed $50M is almost irrelevant. Unless you’re in the Bill Gates/Warren Buffet/Oprah peer group, you don’t turn down $50M. I think there’s 50/50 chance Floyd would come outta retirement to fight Wilder for a $50M guarantee. Hell Lomachencko might fight Wilder for $50M. The mere fact that AJ turned down $50M, and the bull**** roadblocks his team have created. Anyone in their right state of mind knows their side is very leery of fight Wilder. No matter how much his volunteer lawyers get on here and try to spin it.
