You cant fight 40 times and only fight 5 champion fighters in an era with 4+ champions per weight class.

That's one quality "champ" every 8 fights...

Oh and one of those 5 champs is a WELTERWEIGHT.

And he ducked the chance to stack on more by not fighting Dervenchenko/Andrade...and instead added to his impressive collection of part-time cab drivers :/

For comparison I have Manny at a 9.5 and Floyd at a 9.0

I have AW at an 8-8.5

    Sergio Martinez at a 7.5

    Mosley at a 7.0-7.5

RJJ at a 8.5 (was a 9.0-9.5 but you cant ignore a decade of horrible performances and pretend they didnt happen)

    BHop at a 9.0-9.5
I'm not sure if boxers are expected to be gods or something. History looks at context. The only possible dent in GGG's resume is the absence of the Ward fight.

Wikipedia says he defended his title against Proksa.

So where are you getting your 9 from?
10 now, geale onwards from the moment he won the world title.

      Whats wrong with 10?

wtf. GGG has had one elite fight, a draw.

a defence on its own doesnt mean its a "superstar" fight.

Wgt GGG fans gotta try an elevate defences to "superstar" fights when it involves GGG? They are simply world title defences for everyone else!

he got the actual title just before the geale fight.

one body cannot award the world title to 2 people..since theres only one world.

There is one europe, not 2 europes.
The is one USA, not 2 USAs.
There is one Britain, not two Britains.

Once you offer evidence that theres more than 1 world, we can accept what you say that there are 2 world titles. please begin your proof now.

As I said, some fans will never be happy. Even when you fight the top two contenders in your own division in the span of 2 years, so this conversation is meaningless. People hated GGG when he fought Wade and people still hate him when he fights Jacobs or Canelo. However, on the bright side, people vote with their money and MW is the one getting all the attention now. More good fights for me to enjoy.

noones saying he hasnt made title defences, all champs are expected to.

This is the issue - you've not even tried to explain why you tried to pass off defences as "superstar fights". What is wrong with you?

Fighting the top contenders in your division is the very definition of superstar fight. MW is a marquee division and we are finally seeing all the big fights be made. It is not surprising or unusual for a multiple belt holder to have big big fights as title defense.

no its not! fighting contenders is what a titleholder is supposed to do.

why you gotta upgrade title defences to superstar fights when one of the fighters is GGG?

Hes had one superstar type fight, the draw with canelo.

Everyone is a contender by definition to champions with multiple belts. Being pedantic is of no use.
