Spence will probably have another tune up fight since didn't take much damage if any last night. I think the unification will happen next year between Spence and whoever wins the Garcia and Porter fight.

Porter vs. Garcia in August, so best case scenario is January 2019! Since Errol didn't get much work last night, I think he should fight Ugas in October! I know it's wishful thinking, but I would love to see Spence vs. Ugas and Charlo vs. Hurd on the same card!

You have to be a complete moron to criticize Spence. He is a class act all the way. He is what boxing needs right now. He even found time in his interview to congratulate Jim Gray on his HOF induction. And he said he wants the winner of Porter vs Garcia “as soon as it becomes available.”

From a boxing perspective, I believe he is just too strong, physically and mentally, for anyone in his division. I need to see Crawford against some of the top welterweights to access if he even has the goods versus Spence. Regardless of the caliber of Ocampo, who was a mandoratory opponent, it was vicious body shots that took out a full blown welterweight. That’s what impressed me, in the 1st round at that.

How come lomachenko seems to get the fights he wants but Crawford has to do what Arum says?

I'd love to see that but I don't think Ugas is going to get a chance, he was ranked higher than Ocampo and ko'd his opponent in a couple of rounds on Spence's show, it'll be another of those high risk low reward fights that promoters just won't make.

I don’t really see the point in fighting the Porter-Garcia winner, especially if it’s not his next fight. They’re both Thurman victims. The only fights that really matter for Spence at 47 are Crawford and Thurman. Crawford is gonna be tough to make. And Thurman is busy turning himself into the welterweight version of Adonis Stevenson.

I think it’s time for Spence to move up. He’s a big welterweight. And at some point in his career he’ll likely compete as a middleweight. Hurd and Jermell Charlo are the big dawgs at 54. Obviously he’s not gonna fight Jermell. Maybe he could make something with Hurd. Or, fight the Munguia kid that just beat Ali. Either that or go really big and make the jump to 60 and target the Canelo-GGG winner. He could target someone like Billy Joe Saunders in an effort to make himself the most attractive option for the Canelo-GGG winner to fight in their next fight.

Ugas was ranked higher, but the order to fight Ocampo came a month before Ugas won the final eliminator. I think he was on Spence's show so he could be ready if Porter or Garcia make negotiations hard.

Lomachenko has guys like Rigo, who will move up 2 weight classes, and guys like Linares, who will leave HBO to fight him. He even has Pacquiao seeking a fight with him @ 140! Pac wouldn't come to 140 for Crawford! What P4P fighter is ready to jump up 2 weight classes for Crawford?
