Ideally Crawford will fight the winner of Pac vs Lucas for the WBA regular title. Once he acquires that he can force Keith Thurman into a unification fight or get him stripped.

It's not going to be available anytime soon doe. Their fight will be held late August. And it usually takes months before the winner/loser thinks of coming back in the ring.

You're going to have to look for an interim fight doe while waiting. Danny Garcia usually takes a tuneup before taking a big fight just like when he fought Thurman. That will take at least a year.

Exactly - everything good with what you've said here. Spence is going to have to entice other fighters in the ring as I don't see Porter/Garcia/Thurman fighting him at all. Lets face it, if Garcia can't beat Porter how's he going to beat Spence. Ditto Porter if he can't beat Garcia - the loser of that fight is not going to want to fight Spence and fan interest won't be there.

Crawford-Spence will be left to brew but there aren't too many fights that either can take that will build their reputation.
For all that the journos talk about WW as being a deep competitive division it really isn't right now.

I think Lara will be avoided at 154 so if he was paid enough money they might be able to do a CW - that will test Spence with Lara's movement and give him a name if he wins whereas if Lara could win he'd have slain the monster and be able to make a case for more payday fights.
