    Do you agree with this?

The greatest tricks HBO ever pulled was convincing majority of the boxing world that Pac vs Bradley 1 , Kovalev vs Ward 1 & GGG vs Canelo 1 were not even close fights at the very least

harold lederman should not score fights.....i often find his cards to be terrible..he does not believe its possible for a less agressive fighter, who goes backwards, to win a round or a fight

Definitely all close fights. I thought Pac, Kovalev won, I didn’t really have any issues with the GGG/Canelo draw.

Ha ha. Well whatever your feeling about how the fights went the subtle (or not so subtle) insinuation here is that people who thought one fighter won clearly are just weak minded dupes who DKSAB. Those kinda games don't particularly impress me whether the point is justified or not... unless of course NBT Boxing is omniscient superbeing whose opinions weigh more than everyone elses.

All three fights were in fact (at least IMO) close - certainly all had many very close rounds, and even if you personally felt there was a clear winner it's hard to rule out the possibility of someone legitimately scoring it the other way.

Also the Tweeter is wrong I think. The majority of the world do think that all three fights were close. My su****ion is that he's talking about large number of people who were convinced that one guy clearly won. Y'know - those who thought they were 'close but clear' situations.

          All three were close. I think I had Pac/Bradley 7-5 (maybe even 8-4). I had Kov-Ward 1 7-5, and Canelo-GGG a draw

I agree, it was more about the announcers tending to let bias for their favorites skew their calling of these fights. However, it didn't mean the boxing world agreed with them. I can remember various situations where the announcers' favorite could swing at air and get praised for landing great shots, while the other guy's landed shot(s) sometimes yielded silence. Yes, RJJ, JL & MK, I'm talking about you.

One thing I do know is that Harold needs to go away. When HBO does those lederman clips discussing the fight, the guy is basically drooling as he speaks. He needs to move on and enjoy retirement. Had a great career but he has been in the dance for to long and needs to retire because fans are getting real tired of his ****** scorecards.

Don't remember what I had Pac/Brad 1, might not have scored it actually, but Pacuqiao won. Ward/Kovalev 1 I had 115-112 Kovalev and I had GGG 115-114

                  Pac clearly won
                  Ward closely won
                  GGG clearly won.

Pac v Bradley 1 was much closer than some people admit or even understand. I did have Pacquiao winning but it was close. Bradley had Pac missing for large parts of the fight, keeping him off balance and picking up plenty of late rounds. I still can't see how Bradley won though, there's no way he won the majority of the rounds.

Same as there's no way Ward won more rounds than Kovalev in the first fight, as well as being dropped.

GGG won too. Let's be fair, if Canelo gets a draw at best on the cards, you know he lost.

All the fights were very competitive though. If one was to go back and watch Pac v Tim objectively, i think they might be surprised that it really was quite a close competitive fight, but the wrong winner.
