Errol Spence worked his way into the mandatory position by agreeing to eliminators and won the title as the mandatory. Kell Brook worked his way into the mandatory position by agreeing to eliminators and won the title as the mandatory. Shawn Porter won the IBF North American title, to put himself in position to fight for the IBF world title. It's not my fault you have no idea how the sport works. Everybody who becomes mandatory had a promoter or manager actively pursuing a ranking in that organization, seeking eliminators or regional titles, etc. That is how boxing works.
