Very true. If I was a millionaire I would def invest in West Africa. Cameroon should have a world Cup by now. Even a FIBA champion. Definitely a legit boxing champion. But he's Pakistani so he's pushing a agenda that really aint going to work. They are all the same ppl the problem is religion.Statistically there probably is someone talented and physically capable, but firstly giving them a pathway into boxing is hard, second finding them would be like a needle in a haystack and if they were talented in any sport then getting a cricket ball out of their hand would be a challenge.
I do agree that it’s an untapped talent pool, especially in lower weight classes, and the MLB have long been doing recruiting missions to convert would be cricketers because they have some fast arms amongst them.
If I had a bottomless pit of cash to invest in grass roots boxing to find the next great HW, I’d start in Africa before India. Some big and tough dudes in Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Nigeria etcComment

Non-sense. It's the second most popular in the world, after Football. Viewing figures for big Cricket games dwarf Olympic viewing figures, even Liverpool v Man Utd figures, and all those American Sports.Comment

Apart from cricket I can’t really think of any top Indian sportsmen. It’s not a hot bed of athletes like west Africa for exampleComment
