by Loeffler, and by WBC Sulaiman..... who slammed the door on his holiday in Japan, giving him little choice

I actually think that Golovkin was willing to dump the WBC strap, but Loeffler convinced him to fight Canelo now..... rather than waiting until after they broke Hopkins record

and the reason is money..... the additional 7.5%, which would be removed from the table if Golovkin had not accepted

if Golovkin denied Canelo the opportunity to set the record straight..... Canelo would fight Jacobs, and realize that he does not need Golovkin at all..... especially with interest from fans dying if the fight did not happen now

just a guess, could be wrong..... but if I am right, then Golovkin was not 100% committed to this fight.... which does not bode well for him in September

there is a DAMN good reason why Canelo just cut off one of his fingers to make that fight

Firstly, Kell Brook was not Pound for Pound when he fought Gennady.

Secondly - and more importantly - even if he was PFP #1..he was THAT at 147 - NOT 160. At 160 he was UNranked.
