I mean we all can name a dozen or more situations worse then the one GGG got stripped for that others didn't if you woke us out of a sudden sleep at 3:24am thats how mundane & w/e the corrupt is with these ABC Groups. The main mistake GGG & his team made here was thinking the IBF was the ABC Group that'd give them leeway.
Name a situation where one person has 3 belts & not fighting mandatory challengers for any of the belts.
You can't hold 4 belts and refuse to fight your mandatory while trying to fight the same over and over again. He coulda fot Sergiy outta there In May.
Gotta let others eat to. That belt just got Bivol a nice contract and Hooker entry into the WBSS.

Are you suggesting cuz Canelo got caught with a banned substance that all these dumb moves GGG made post Canelo getting suspended aren't dumb f#cking moves & not his fault?

LMFAO is so. Canelo was ****** or careless (you decide I got no dog in that fight), but GGG was ****** on top of Canelo's issues.

Quit being a fanboy bruh. Its embarrassing to be all up someone's ass like that as an adult.

I don't follow mandatory fights so I got no clue who's doing what so you asking the wrong cat. I just pay attention when mfers getting stripped cuz I enjoy the fights & I enjoy the business of boxing, but I hate the politics & corruption so don't pay it as much mind nor does it store in my brain the same way good fights do & interesting business moves.

Bottom line people have gotten away with worse than what GGG did & NOT been stripped. Don't mean its right nor am I claiming its right, but like I said GGG was all up in his feelings & was trying to pull off a masterful move here by stepping on Canelo's holiday, not risking a short notice fight vs a bad mfer or potentially a bad mfer as Derevyanchenko isn't THAT proven yet & he was hoping his juice was enough that a ABC Group would back him in this plan.

To me the only mistake he probably made was entrusting the IBF to back up his plan. He thought everyone was equally corrupt I think maybe. He didn't know the ABC Groups were equally corrupt, but got different rules & regulations that make it a trickier mountain to climb then he thought.

Ok, I'll say it again. Just for you.

This isn't being a fan, this is having common boxing sense. You know, like you and many others defended FMJ for doing basically his whole career from the ODLH fight on.

GGG made a decision to fight Vanes as a stay busy fight. He was willing to even fight Spike and offered him the fight. But facing a guy like SD on less than 3 weeks notice for short money is ****** when at that given time, they didn't know they were getting stripped.

And all things aside, who fkn cares? GGG is #1 and is going to fight for the lineal title in September for the most money in boxing not involving AJ.

Why you and others have a hard time understanding this is beyond me.

And you want to know why I know this? Because I don't trash boxers personally when they don't deserve it, while you all do. Trash fkn Canelo for cheating and getting caught.

It may sting Golovkin a little, but ultimately it's good for boxing. If Derevyanchenko beats Jacobs, Golovkin can face him to try to win his belt back & become a two-time IBF champion. If Jacobs wins, he'll eventually have to face Golovkin again and this time, he'll have to meet the weight requirement or risk being stripped himself.

              Thank I appreciate that.

If there is anything happening with boxing common sense in this whole clusterf#ck of a situation its news to me.

And idk wtf Floyd gots to do with this or whats similar with Floyd & GGG or Canelo (legit not sure who you are even comparing Floyd to).

GGG made a decision to fight Vanes as a stay busy fight. He was willing to even fight Spike and offered him the fight. But facing a guy like SD on less than 3 weeks notice for short money is ****** when at that given time, they didn't know they were getting stripped.
They gave GGG strong hints that he'd be stripped if he didn't fight Derevyanchenko.

I do agree fighting Derevyanchenko on May 5 wasn't a great idea, but the thing is he EASILY could've gotten a date in late May to early July to fight Derevyanchenko + keep his title. GGG is making decisions like a girl off of emotions doe. He wanted to step on Canelo's date, not take the risk vs Derevyanchenko on short notice & hoped he had the pull the ABC Groups to not get stripped. And as I said I think it all works out if it wasn't the IBF he was trying this move on.

And all things aside, who fkn cares? GGG is #1 and is going to fight for the lineal title in September for the most money in boxing not involving AJ.
Sh^t bruh you are talking about it too lol. Why do you care about it still if you claim to not care about it????

And you want to know why I know this? Because I don't trash boxers personally when they don't deserve it, while you all do. Trash fkn Canelo for cheating and getting caught.
I call it like I see it. And I got respect & appreciation for everyone who gets in the ring, but I'll call bs bs if I see it & I'll big up a mfer in the same sentence if he deserves it to.

I was just busting Jose Ramirez's balls cuz he's turning into some bs fight ticket seller type guy vs fighting the top guys in the game he can fight. I called him the later in my first breath & gave him props for getting his money in my second breath. Just cuz I call someone out on some sh^t don't mean thats my defining opinion of them or even meant to diss them THAT much.

The truth is the truth & I'm always gonna say how I see the truth from my POV. If its right or wrong its for those reading my words to decide &/or call me out on if its THAT off base. From that point I'll defend my position or reconsider it based on new info or reconsidered info.

You have not made me reconsider my info with your weak take on this situation that still seems fanboy-ish to me.

Some have gotten away with worse from other organizations. But we know the IBF is going to follow their rules because the last time they tried to get away with worse people got indicted, went to jail, the the govt had oversight of their organization.

The IBF has been more than accommodating with GGG. For an organization known for being strict with their rules they haven't made him fight a mandatory for 2 years. They sanctioned the Brook fight. Allowed the second Canelo fight to go thru ahead and wasn't gonna do anything about the Vanes fight until Sergiy stepped up & asked for his shot. They gave him the opportunity to fight Sergiy then or later. He refused both fights. At this point what are they supposed to do?

Strip him like they did. I understand that. I'm not debating that.

Wouldnt it of been more dumber for Sergiy to take the GGG fight after JUST fighting AND for Vanes $ to lose that 0??? Man take GGG dic out of your ass.

Who knows he could of got wrecked like Tito did Reid when Reid fought and wasnt ready. RUINED Reid.

Actually, the article says the IBF stripped Golovkin because he didn't agree to fight Derevyanchenko by early August.
