both team ggg and ggg himself are being hypocrites....

this is all on them and somehow thats equates to me "not liking" him so then you go and say I only like black fighters and what not?

"all the while erislandy lara had to prove himself in order to get a fight with ggg but i guess vanes didnt

        anyone 154-168 doe
no one wants to fight doe"

        Sound familiar?

Anyone who follows boxing knows the situation with Canelo. GGG already beat him and is the legit champ. He should now hold all the belts except BJS belt and should be making his mando defense in Aug.

This is on Canelo and those who dispute it should explain why you think GGG should be degraded over it. It's because you don't like him personally because there sure isn't anything to dislike about his boxing style or ability, that's for d@mn sure.

Explain yourself my man. Be honest.

Idk that GGG was holding the belts "hostage". I legit think he thought he had the power to step on "Canelo's date" PLUS get the ABC Group to give him some leeway as they've given others.

I mean we all can name a dozen or more situations worse then the one GGG got stripped for that others didn't if you woke us out of a sudden sleep at 3:24am thats how mundane & w/e the corrupt is with these ABC Groups. The main mistake GGG & his team made here was thinking the IBF was the ABC Group that'd give them leeway.

And its not like May 5 was the deadline. To me Vanes is fine on May 5 cuz he's not much of a challenge for GGG, but if I'm fighting Derevyanchenko I think Imma want a lil more time. But I think the IBF would have easily given him more time to schedule a fight for late May to early July to fight Derevyanchenko & clear the mandatory situation w/o all this drama.

I think GGG was trying to be slick here. He wanted to step on Canelo's date, he didn't wanna take a risk for a guy as good as Derevyanchenko on short notice & he thought the IBF would give him more leeway then they did for some dumbass reason. And hell maybe the IBF was being cooler with him then normal cuz this stripping situation was the one most clearly defined before the fact that I think I can recall in a long ass time. So the IBF seemed like they were trying to guide GGG through this situation w/o losing the belt, but GGG's ego & desire to try to get over on Canelo f#cked up his sh^t.

When you are the WBA number one, you don't have to fight for all of the belts. He didn't do anything wrong by choosing not to fight for the IBF.

It's just like anytime a champ gets stripped the org goes down the list to try to make the best fight from the highest fighter in their ranks. If 1 vs 2 cant be made, then 3 says no , they move to 4 and so on and so on. That's not equal or close to failing a drug test and being suspended.

GGG made a mistake by not defending his belt...it's not Jacobs fault he was stripped.

Not a great look for the guy most perceive as the #1 guy in the division, but being the #1 guy in the money is important too lets not bs about it.
not to mention that Canelo is lineal MW champ. I don't understand the people who in the same damn paragraph will call out GGG for wanting to unify the division and then call him a hypocrite for wanting to beat Canelo.
