FACT: the fight was a draw
it is in the book.....
http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/356831
the LAST source I would consider, are spastic casual-fans
in 5 of those rounds..... ALL three judges awarded those 5 rounds to Canelo
that fight was close as hell..... Plodkin missed a TON of punches, and he was largely ineffective for long periods in that fight..... regardless as to what the casuals think
defense IS valid scoring criteria... ineffective aggression is NOT
FACT - Pernell Whitaker had a draw with Julio Cesar Chavez.
I cannot figure out who the bigger degenerate is you or Dull Razor. But when it comes to having any credibility you both are zeros.
I will take a casual fan any day over a loser troll like yourself who goes into fights with an agenda. You and a couple of the other losers on here are the Adalaide Byrd's of this website.Comment

ppv numbers and fight splits are the reason for fights getting done or not most of the time, if you dont like the topic then i suggest you stay away from the conversation...Last edited by icha; 06-13-2018, 12:34 PM.Comment

Liam Smith - 300k.
Khan - ~450k.
And are we pretending that Jacobs and Lemieux have names? Neither one of them is nearly as popular as Amir Khan. Here's google trends to illustrate my point:
Golovkin vs. no name drew 160k PPVs 2 days ago. Canelo drew 300k. You're also not including the growth of their reputations. Canelo was riding career high reputation after Mayweather, he was the heir apparent. Golovkin was not known well when he fought Jacobs, and definitely wasn't known well when he fought Lemieux. Golovkin's reputation and name power has increased exponentially since 2016, as he absorbed some of Canelo's star power. Canelo's rep if anything, has taken some hits recently, from the bad judging to PED scandal.
Folks that keep trying to pretend that Golovkin is not a name and makes peanuts need a reality check. In media, he's hot on Canelo's heels in terms of popularity. He's making good amounts of money.
There's a reason why no matter what Oscar has been saying for past month, the fight was never dead. There's a reason why they're willing to come up to 40%+. They know the value of the fight, and the value Golovkin brings.
That's all that really needs to be said - look at Golden Boy.Comment
