When he does step up at some point against an opponent who can take him late into a fight he'll definitely need to be in better shape. He needs to still lose about 20lbs.

The test is how he will react to being hit.
But I'm sure a few more training camps under belt the weight will come down.
But at least he's got one fight under his belt because many didn't believe he'd really fight again and that it was all talk.
Claiming to get in ring in August next but this time people believe it

Fury looks past his prime.. he's not a threat to Wilder or AJ..

He won't get a 6pack but he can easily drop 10-15 lbs in the 8 week camp with a good diet.

nothing worse than weight loss camps, you feel drained in the fight and the fast weight loss can affect the chin, BOXING should be the focus, not weight or looks rights now.
Do you think they mishandled matters by bringing him back before all the weight was gone?

            I don't think so.

He needed motivation and a target to work towards, such a fight date. He's clearly the kind of guy that needs to be active, have set dates and not be out of the gym for too long.

Doing it gradually fight by fight is the best thing for Fury.

Yeah that was my feeling also. I think he needs targets. Also the longer he's out the harder it would've been when he stepped back in the ring.

He looked stressed in his post fight interview. Offered a journalist out, very defensive. I think he probably needs very careful management at present.

Talk of a belt by the end of the year sounds fanciful also. The man is brittle and on the edge.

It's a long, hard climb from where Fury was 3/4 months ago to where he needs to be if he's going to threaten the likes of AJ and Wilder.

Like a mountaineer climbing Everest, he needs to do it in stages. Comeback fight is the first stage - establishing a base on the lower slopes of the mountain - and Seferi was the right kind of opponent for that.

But it should have been an undercard fight, without all the razzmatzz and big talk fom Warren and the Fury camp. Making it a main event and trying to talk Seferi up into something he clearly isn't was a big mistake. It left the crowd feeling disappointed and Fury feeling a little deflated and defensive, which is the last thing he needs right now.

I don't blame Fury for that. He is what he is -a larger than life character, full of bullshit and bravado. And I say that as a huge Fury fan!

But Warren should have known better. Yes, he is a boxing promoter and he wants to sell fights and make money. But don't get greedy and try to rip off the casuals, or it will backfire on you. Remember what happened with Audley?

I don't think his trainers are mean enough to get the job. Tyson can get lazy he needs somebody that will be on him like white on rice. I bet he's still drinking beer.

I agree with that. Making a big event out of the fight probably wasn't the best idea. But then Warren has to make money and also has to keep BT Sport happy i suppose.

Warren is ashamed and probably realised how ****** he is to sign fat Fury, this guy is nothing but trouble.
