Bob has let Loma fight Rigo, Russell Jr, Linares and Sosa, who are all with other promoters. Why would he change it up now? It is the other side you need to worry about these days. They are paying Mikey and Spence extra so they don't jump ship.


Also Mikey knows Loma will not fight him in December anyway. Loma said he will not fight a hard fight coming off shoulder surgery. He needs a tuneup fight to feel things out.

Mikey cuts through Easter like a hot knife through butter. Then smashes Loma if Bob makes the fight. Mikey simply too big and strong for anybody at 135. If you getting dropped by Linares who is not a big puncher what you think will happen when Mikey lands? Loma is reaching the limits of his body at 135. He is going to be in more tough fights at this new weight. Mikey dominates 135, beats everybody at 140 now that Crawford has moved up and won't really get tested until he moves to 147 that's where I think he reaches the limits of his body where despite being more skilled he's facing guys that are just too big for him.

There's a difference in your post. Arum made fights with those guys who were with different promoters because they weren't on Mikeys level. None of those guys draws close to what Mikey does. The Russell fight went to a purse pid, that's the only reason it happened. The Linares fight only happened because Linares dind't want to lose out on his biggest payday after not getting the Mikey fight. None of those fighters get paid close to what Mikey makes. Mikey gets paid his purse along with percentage of the revenue for his fights. We know that isn't going to happen with Arum running the show. Loma had stated before there was mention of an injury that he wouldn't be fighting Mikey anytime soon.
