NO! This came out 5 days ago:

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum told Randy Gordon and former heavyweight challenger Gerry Cooney on their Rush 93 show on Sirius XM on Monday, that Manny Pacquiao is not interested in a welterweight bout against Terence Crawford, and that he’s eyeing lightweight world titleholder Vasiliy Lomachenko at 135 pounds. Pacquiao hasn’t fought at 135 since a TKO victory over David Diaz in June, 2008.

Let’s pump the brakes please Old Man Arum. He beat Jeff F......Horn. Lets see how he does against Garcia, Porter, Thurman, Brook, & Spence before we even “think” about mentioning him in the same breath as Leonard. And even if he does, they aren’t wins against fighters on the level of the HOF’ers Leonard beat...Hearns, Benitez, Duran, & Hagler. HOF’er Benitez was undefeated at the time and has a win against Duran on his resume and went the distance in a close fight against Hearns.
That’s why I struggle with saying Floyd is better than Leonard. Who has he beaten “IN THEIR PRIME” better than those 4 HOF’ers on his own resume.

And Leonard went up to middleweight to challenge Hagler. Although Hagler is way greater than GGG, Floyd turned down an opportunity to go up to middleweight to fight him or another middleweight. Floyd only went up to “junior middleweight.” Leonard actually went up and got a Light Heavyweight Title, grant it was Lalonde, but it’s still in his resume. If Leonard would have retired after that fight, instead of holding on like Roy Jones Jr., no question he is higher up on the greatest list.

Are you ******ed? Arum is a white ***ish man who made the comparison between Leonard and Crawford, two black men. How can you say one racial group is the one making these absurd comparisons?

I get that you're racist and all but try not to be a moron.

Which he has Spence, Porter, Thurmond and others to compete against now. At 147, he can be listed as a Ray Leonard great. He does not even need to win them all- Leonard didn't. But he needs the opportunity to fight them.

Crawford: Still my personal #1 P4P over Lomachenko. But they are 1A and 1B.

Haha Pretty much the way I see it. I think Crawford is definitely pretty damn good, but he’s gotta beat a few top welterweights before I start comparing him to Leonard. That’s gonna be a while, if ever it happens. Arum is a promoter, so he’s gotta build up his man; but it does get a little annoying to hear him go on like that.

Amen to that, Preacher. The choir is with you. Boxing needs this division to deliver. This group at 147 has the potential to be the group of boxers we talk about in awe if they don't let boxing politics get in the way. They need to fight each other with the mandatory rematches along the way over the next few years. Greatness awaits them all.
