Joshua will dispatch of that PED cheat no problem. Was watching some clips from the Wlad vs Povetkin fight the other day, he hasn't really improved since then, also he's been popped again for PEDs since then as well
Wlad was at a higher level then than Joshua is now, also Wlad held like crazy. So yes, Povetkin isn't what he once was but Joshua isn't quite as difficult a fight either.
Sure, you have to favor Joshua but to assume he'll win No Problem, is a really big assumption.

Its a great fight on paper but its going to be an easier fight for Joshua then Parker was bc hes going to walk right to him and stand in front of him .
Joshua isnt going to let that clinch tactics work here , i dont see this fight going past 5 rnds .
You NEED certain types of guys to worry him , beyond Ortiz /Wilder theres no one around the corner beyond 2020 .
I do beleive Whytes unpredictable style could get him on that short list should he defeat Parker ,hes literally the only guy to have sanctioned win over Joshua thats currently active in a amateur bout .
Povetkin will look good on his resume but thats about it .
I don't want to hear crybaby bull**** or conspiracy theories about ducking Wilder if this is next. It's a legit fight and fans of the sports know that it is.
Its a good fight but easier to prepare for than the wilder fight
Wilder is the fight everyone wants to see. Only reason its not happening is Hearn.
Joshua is the favourite but Povetkin isn't a bum.
They can fob the casuals off with signing to fight Wilder next.
How's that play out if Povetkin wins?
They'll already have the rematch clause in place.
Joshua should win the fight. If he punches *** out of Povetkin & stops him its a massive win & will give him a boost if he fights Wilder
Right, but why drag the public through bs negotiations, saying the Wilder fight is the preferred next fight. Just come out and say, Pedvetkin is next, and we'll try to make Wilder after?
It's clear that AJ wants Wilder next, but Showtime have complicated things by saying it doesn't work for them to have the fight in September and want it November/December instead. So rather than wait for Wilder, AJ could fight Povetkin and deal with a mandatory.

Link to Showtime saying that?
If the fight was over here, I'd understand, as they'd want ppv and not want to conflict with a potential Canelo-ggg fight. Since the fight will be in the UK and not likely to be ppv, I don't see what difference it would make to be on in September.
