Agree. Its pretty obvious to see Hearn doesn't want this fight NOW if you are a Hearn fan & have no dog in this Wilder vs Joshua thing outside of wanting to see the fight in the first place.

And I'd be lying if I said I don't see the money being bigger in 6, 12 or 24 months for this fight or if Hearn wants a least risky big fight its possible Wilder loses in the next 6, 12 or 24 months & he can move Joshua towards the next big fight vs Tyson Fury & eventually Daniel Dubois in a few years.

But I also got no dog in the ~$80M in revenue they could make next fight out or the ~$250M in revenue they could make a year from now if things go right & both keep winning.

I honestly think Povetkin/Joshua is a legit 50/50 fight; whereas Joshua/Wilder is like 80/20, Wilder only having a puncher's chance.

Povetkin is a much better technical boxer than Joshua, has faster hands, and feet, and hits only slightly less hard.

Povetkin is an animal - especially if he manages to slide under the radar, or is on some expensive ass, cutting-edge designer drugs ahead of the drug testing. I wouldn't be surprised - Povetkin has A LOT of money behind him.. Ryabinsky just likes to see Russian fighters shine, and isn't really in it for the money. Just like I sort of like to think Jay-Z wants to see black, and American boxers shine and doesn't really care about turning a profit.

I think Joshua should choose Wilder. Better for that glass chin to get KOd by Wilder than get KOd by drug cheat Povetkin.

If the fight was over here, I'd understand, as they'd want ppv and not want to conflict with a potential Canelo-ggg fight. Since the fight will be in the UK and not likely to be ppv, I don't see what difference it would make to be on in September.
Hearn has said this in multiple interviews this week. Espinoza has said that as much as well. It is going to be US PPV.

Dont know if thats gonna happen when he is not on PEDs

That being said, Povetkin is a dangerous opponent, I have no problem with this bout, but hopefully we can get both sides to sign the papers soon. It has been ridiculous so far from both sides

Those "issues" are obviously from one camp...

                Nice try though.

He says there's nothing on the calendar for September.

Eddie confirms it here 30 seconds in.

It has to be us ppv probably now?

One advantage of doing later in the year is at Cardiff they will be able to have a later fight (after 11pm), whereas in Wembley they are ready strict on end times. September fight more likely would be Wembley.

Therefore being in December to February in cardiff allows a late fight in uk maximising uk ppv but also brings us ppv / or at least later to bring higher audience into play!

I consider Povetkin less dangerous than Wilder. Pov, he'd be timid and trigger shy vs Joshua, I say that because he ducked a young Tyson Fury. I'd pick Joshua if he boxed Povetkin because I don't see AJ being dominated on the inside, AJ tactfully throws elbows that appear to be after a left hook (he will leave left arm at a 90 and lean in) among other things. He hit Parker with a good one, opened a cut on that man with it. Additionally, Povetkin has a cross that I consider slower and weaker than Vlads, Joshus saw Vlads coming and while he got nailed a lot with it, he was able to turn away at the last few microseconds to mitigate serious damage. If he can do that vs Vlad, I expect him to counter a Povetkin cross, as like I said before, it's slower than Vlads.
