Its not crazy at all. Its actually a much better system than the other sanctioning bodies.

In the IBF, in order to get a #1 or #2 ranking, you must already be ranked in the top 10, and then you must fight another fighter in the top 10 in an eliminator bout in order to get the #1 or #2 spot.

Its a much better system than having a corrupt Suiliman or Mendoza just "appointing" someone as the #1 challenger, because it suits their financial interests.

The only downside to it is most times the prima donna diva fighters wont fight for the IBF because they think they are too important to fight an eliminator.

Coward, no such things as friends in boxing. The tension in camp is already bad because the IBF offered this fight, both guys have it in their minds that a fight could happen so why not? Only time fighters shouldn’t fight is if they are family like the Charlo bros or the klit bros

There's no way globally that Ukrainian guy is ranked top ten. Canelo fought GGG last year why isn't he ranked by their system? He's not a belt holder so he should be eligible for their system. It's still flawed since Jacob's is going to the de facto person chosen to fight when he hasn't fought a top ten person sincerely GGG.

I didnt say it was without flaws, I just said its better than the alternatives. Derev beat Soliman to get into the top 10, and then KOd Johnson in an eliminator. If you dont think Derev was top 10, then I'd like to see the 9 guys you rank above him.

As for Alvarez, he was ranked up until he failed the drug test, and then he was removed from the rankings

Because Jacobs gets KO'd. Jacobs needs more cherry picks or a payday in other words.

promoters dont pay the judges directly. We pay the state commission, who in turn pays the judges and referee.

One belt for each division, I'm with that.
