We go back to the Gamboa fight because Crawford hasn't fought anyone close to his caliber since... and that was blown up and inactive Gamboa at a big size disadvantage.

I don't get the vitriol on TC. He lost rounds and got wobbled by Gamboa. Yuri was a Boogeyman prior to that. He made adjustments and stopped him. Since then he beat Jean, Postol, Molina, Dulorme, Beltran, Indongo, etc...very solid if not spectacular list of fighters who bring different challenges.

In another thread someone said he ducked Provo. I like Provo but he lost to Molina, Provo is a warrior but I doubt TC was afraid of that fight. In the meantime, who has Horn fought? He was gifted a win against a shopworn Pac. I see TC by decision or late round stoppage.

Correct. In fact Provodnikov was supposed to face Bud in the summer of 2016 with Postol being the end of the year but Ruslan decided instead to sign a 3 fight deal with Showtime starting with Molina. So there’s that.

Crawford has improved every fight basically in his career. Gamboa was a solid 2-1 favorite over him and Bud cleaned out 135. He then cleaned out 140 and won every belt by totally dominating every opponent almost every round. You can only beat what’s in front of you and when you dominate and clean up two divisions in style I’m confused as to why he’d be criticized.

On top of that he’s a class act and humble dude that’s all about fighting everyone in his division no excuses so hard to dislike from a personality standpoint or technical/entertainment standpoint.

Like I said earlier to certain folks keep hating and you’ll keep getting disappointed. He’s gonna keep winning and winning. He’s a special fighter.

You're wrong. Whether you like it or not what I said is an actual fact. You're just being a piece of **** at this point. On the ignore list you go.

They weighed the same, and at the time Gamboa was a bad ass with very fast hands and the fight was TCs breakout fight, Gamboa at the time was way more dangerous and had a lot more boxing ability than Horn.

It makes be laugh how a guy is expected to to steam roll everyone all the way, 12 rnds is a long time to completely dominate world class opponents all of the time, you only have to win the fights not every second of every round.

he was half his damn size, just watch the fight. people would have absolutely crucified golovkin if he struggled tht much against brook. in fact they did even though he got him out of there early lol. gamboa was also very inactive in the years building up to that fight too, but that gets swept under the carpet.

Boxing is weight not height , Gamboa was a very dangerous fighter back then and his boxing ability makes Horns pale by comparison, 4 yrs ago in boxing is a long time to be hanging onto something.
