When I saw someone quoted my post I thought they were going to explain why Canelo deserves more than 50%. And I thought, this ought to be good. It must be because his red hair draws more people to the fights.

Canelo deserves above 50% for the following reasons.

1. He is the bigger draw. Still.
2. GBP would be the lead promoter.
3. He got the bigger purse in the first fight and it was a draw, therefore nothing's really changed for Canelo to give him a bigger purse.

I bought most all of those fights but now I see I should have only bought Golovkin's because I've helped contribute to this inequity.

lil g was the one who got the gift (draw) & it doesn't matter that the Nelo fans are having a field trip with this but I'm having a field trip with lil g getting put in the corner cuz it forces us to get the fights we want to see & the fights that should happen like wbc forcing lil g to fight Jermall.

I cheered for Canelo because I thought it would be a better outcome for the sport (passing the torch) but I picked Golovkin because I thought he would win ha.

In all honesty, it sounds like somebody very high up the food chain is tired of financing GGG’s bum of the month act. And now they’re gonna hold his feet to the fire and make his validate all the hype. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a surprise announcement that GGG is moving up to 175 to challenge Ward. Hell just overpay him to get his ass kicked so he can go away.

And you're wrong, fighting Deverechenko on May 5th could have jeopardized that fight because I'm not sure that GGG wins that fight and he certainly comes out of it taking punishment. If he takes a bad cut or suffers an injury in a win it jeopardizes the September fight. Fighting a slickster like Andrade could or Charlo could have jeopardized it because he's not a lock to win those either. I wrote in my original post that publicly danding 50/50 was a bad call especially when you don't have the leverage to back it up.

I don't like lil g cuz all the fake hype around him & I know he lost to Jacobs & Nelo but I think he could of beat Deverechenko, the dude only has 12 fights & just looks strong or durable but that's about it. You got a point about cuts causing issues for the fight with Nelo if he would of fought his ibf mandatory but the same could be said for any fight let alone the vanes fight. If I was his manager I would of told him to take that ibf out the way then fight Nelo again BUT as a man I say fight Jermall & get your a*s kicked like a man....LMMFAO!
