he should never have been mentioned as a potential middleweight opponent for Golovkin..... the IBF were 100% correct in refusing to sanction that obvious mismatch

Like I said, Canelo has been middleweight allowed to fight super welters for years but that seems ok for you. Heck, you probably even defended Floyd when they let him cheat Marquez.

..and great fighters move up a weight to fight reigning champs all the time yet when Vanes does it, youd rather see that champ fight a noname in his own weight. Heck I bet you didn't have a problem with 154's Floyd Fakeweather fighting Canelo. Oh but then Canelo was so shrivelled down he had to sit to keep from fainting at the weigh-in. Oh and you also been spouting about Bernard even though most of his legacy was fighting smaller 154s coming up to middle..lol

Bottom line, Vanes wasnt the the fight I favored to see but it's not as ridiculous as what you pretend

I'm not surprised with the stripping of the belt, that makes it more difficult to unify the belts by fighting Saunders, that now to capture the Ring belt is the shortest path to reasserting his stranglehold on the division. What I will never understand is why they shot themselves in the foot this way by announcing GGG Vanes before the IBF had even ruled on it.
I never seen Derevyanchenko fight before GGG "ducked" him but now I'm a little curious to see him.

I've been saying this for a few weeks now.... Tom is in over his head.

DLH said today they were willing to do 60-40 to get the fight done but GGG wouldn't budge. Now that they say they've moved on, Loeffler says they're not firm on 50-50? What?

I realize that statements made to the media don't always reflect what's actually going on behind the scenes, but this whole ordeal..... Canelo made the mess, but the way K2 has responded to it has seriously been amateur hour.
