I don't know if the fight could supersede all of the catty comments between the promoters and trainers in this one. The only chance Golovkin has of getting that 50/50 is if he throws in a few 20 year olds and some kitchen utensils for Oscar. Otherwise he'd better jump on that 60/40 because that is A LOT of money. But I don't know if either of these guys even care if they fight each other again. Was a lot of momentum for the first fight. Not so much here.

In all honesty, it sounds like somebody very high up the food chain is tired of financing GGG’s bum of the month act. And now they’re gonna hold his feet to the fire and make his validate all the hype. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a surprise announcement that GGG is moving up to 175 to challenge Ward. Hell just overpay him to get his ass kicked so he can go away.
