GGG deserves 50/50. He beat Canelo the first time, which was obvious to anyone that watched it unless you’re a Canelo nut swinger, and the 2nd time Canelo cheated. He got caught, and couldn’t fight. Oscar just wants to try and buy everyone off again to give his boy a chance. GGG should just move on from those cheats.

If triple G is making 20 to 25 on 35% just ask yourself what is Canelo 65% bring in ? Let's not forget his Mexican ppv rights for Canelo promotion that takes 100% of the money . By the numbers of the first it would star at 40 to 60 million dollars depending on pov sales which should do better . Don't think Canelo walking from this fight cause he wont even make a 3rd of that fighting DJ which is very dangerous . Golden boy and Canelo camp will give him 38% not 40 % just to show them who runs the show !! I would love if Canelo decided to fight for the IBF belt in September and win it that be funny as hell . Why does Canelo even give Golovkin 35%, nevermind the 40%, at this point?

Golovkin just lost the IBF belt, and is now under pressure to fight Jermall Charlo if he doesn't take Alvarez's deal (big, strong, long, has shown pop at the weight, and is just on the cusp of physically peaking, taking on a fighter who is clearly on the other side).

Alvarez-Jacobs is a big enough event to possibly get 1m homes on PPV, in addition to the MGM Resorts take, so it's not like Alvarez is hurting for money.

Yes but he tested dirty twice for a fight against ggg not anyone else. He lost in the vast majority of the so called boxing experts plus his biggest fight is easily ggg. Neither fighter is hurting for money and clenelo is only worth about $5 mil more than ggg.
I’m irritated with ggg team crying and complaining when they should have just said 60-40 or 70-30 to try and get a higher split. Either way I’m over this fight and I’d rather see ggg vs Jacobs bjs or charlo and canelo did the same

You make some great points but at the end of the day Triple g needs Canelo more than Canelo needs Triple g. That's a fact.
Canelo will still make 10-15 million fighting anybody. Can Triple g make more than 2-3 fighting anyone other than Canelo??
