This is the first sensible decision GGG has made in about 2mos. The worst move GGG has made thus far in his career is getting in his feelings over this PED bs.

I think they either sweep it under the rug or they "watch Canelo in the weeks up to the fight" to ultimately OK him for May 5 if not for GGG's outburst.

It seems GGG and his team made some bad decisions since the Cinco De Mayo plan got scrubbed. Some of those were forced upon them (having to find a suitable opponent that wouldn't jeopardize the potential Canelo rematch), some were bad emotional outbreaks (GGG's rants on PED) and others were just bad calls (publicly announcing demand of 50/50 only to come down from that). Canelo may have got a gift decision, may have used PEDs and definitely was the cause of the May 5 fight getting scrapped but when you have his following you can overcome those hurdles, GGG can't. It may not be fair but it's reality.

As for the cats on here getting giddy and gloating that their guy got the upper hand in negotiations, you're acting like you getting a a cut of the purse. You're not, so who cares what happens outside the ring. Just be happy your fighter appears more likely to avenge that draw and fight someone you seem to loathe. I don't care what the % are, although I understand why fighters and their promotions do, I Iust want to see good fights. Hopefully we get one.

He has less leverage today then he did 2 days ago. Why should Oscar give him 40% when he just shot himself in the foot and has 1 less belt and wasted their time for weeks? It's simple he has to fight charlo who his own trainer is crying about or agree to whatever terms Oscar gives him now. Oscar can really screw GGG over now and take 35% off the table and set it back to 30%. What else is GGG going to do now. LMAO
