I replied with this.....

from a strictly boxing perspective..... Derevyanchenko was getting the short end..... because Golovkin not only passed him over for an opponent who is not a draw, and was a dreadful mismatch..... he expected Derevyanchenko to wait another 12-18 months while he took care of Canelo and Saunders

also, Golovkin does not deserve 50% from Canelo, or anything even close..... so Canelo was getting the short end of that offer lol

also, from a boxing standpoint..... the WBA interim/regular titles are total horse-****..... which is why the WBA have pledged to remove them.....

..... so, considering the fact that Gennady's first 11 " defences " were for the WBA interim strap (the horse-**** one mentioned earlier)..... and considering the fact that the demand which killed the Canelo fight was absurd..... then Hopkins would be getting the short end, if Golovkin lays claim to his record not only by defending a bullshht belt, but by avoiding Derevyanchenko and Canelo in order to get there

A rematch should make Canelo more than the prior $50 million which is probably more than he ever made previously or will in the future according to your own numbers. Plus it could potentially squash negative controversies. You don't just throw those kinds of opportunities away without very strong emotions involved..like fear and embarrassment,..

South of the border fervor for false idols shouldnt make an A-side in sports and either should income but unfortunately it does and is often applauded. Yet when GGG asks for a fair priced rematch he is condemed by a multitude of haters so something hit an unrational nerve, like maybe la raza racism

Derevyanchenko could very well be a great fighter but what's his resume??? A decade past his prime Sam Soliman and some other dude that got KOed by Curtis Stevens? Seems more like a silly multi-promotional racketeering stunt to temporarily save a big piece of Golden Boyz azz.

Vanes on the other hand has been a real handfull for everyone hes fought including many of the fighters that the GGG haters here clamor for. Yet when he gets destroyed by GGG, he's suddenly a nobody and a waste of fight space?

Yes but he tested dirty twice for a fight against ggg not anyone else. He lost in the vast majority of the so called boxing experts plus his biggest fight is easily ggg. Neither fighter is hurting for money and clenelo is only worth about $5 mil more than ggg.
I’m irritated with ggg team crying and complaining when they should have just said 60-40 or 70-30 to try and get a higher split. Either way I’m over this fight and I’d rather see ggg vs Jacobs bjs or charlo and canelo did the same
