Tank said fighting Pedraza was a "set up" so there's little chance he fights Lomachenko any time soon.

He's under contract til 2020 from what I understand, but idk if Hearn can or can't buy out the deal or maybe more importantly if Floyd would be open to that. Hearn should be able to offer 1 fight or multi fight deals to Tank through Floyd doe.

I mean you could say Hearn is CEO of DAZN Boxing right now with a $125M budget to play with. Therefore he is gonna have a lot of leeway to do a bunch of things right now a standard promoter doesn't ever get to do. And people are gonna be enticed by these offers cuz the money should be top dollar in boxing for right now at a minimum.

      I mean who's got a $125M/year budget? I don't think the top 3 competitors to DAZN got a $125M budget combined.

Wtf did he even mean by that?

I don't understand half the stuff Tank is talking about. He's been getting his points across better with the PR lady or w/e he put on not that long ago, but up til her getting put on Tank been sounding like the kid in special ed who takes 7 minutes to explain to the teacher he needs to go to the bathroom & take a piss.

How "huge" can it be ffs? I don't think Tank has made a mill yet. Think he's maxed out at 750k or less iirc. Feel free to correct me anyone who knows the exact figure.

But respect to Hearn in pushing the hype angle to all this. Last thing competitor promoters wanna hear is one promoter who keeps talking about all the huge deals he's doing. Very Trump-ish move by Hearn to make the obvious comparison.

Well it was huge according to Tank himself! but remember this is a deal not to sign tank but to buy his fight(s).

Basically to host him on DAZN, not to make an exclusive contract with him.

Assuming this deal is seven figures.

I mean ok I guess there is the argument to say huge is relative, but if he's making 750k it has to be 7 digits or its definitely not huge. But huge to me in boxing is at least $5M...unless he means huge for Tank based on what he's earning now. Than okay 1.5M, double what he's making is huge maybe.

Idk its whatever just curious what "huge" is for Tank from Hearn's POV.

I would say if you've made 750k then 2m is quite huge, it's more than 200% increase. There's a big gap from 6 figures to 7 figures - in terms of the fighter's pull.

Nevertheless, Tank himself said the offer was huge or big or whatever on twitter.
