Imma tell you something and I hope you take this to the heart cause it'll help you out in life....
When it comes to money nobody gives a fucc about anybody but themselves. And when it comes to money you shouldn't trust anybody but yourself. Not even your wife!
    Always remember that!
I'm sorry you've had problems with your wife, truly. As for trying to be patronising to me, I might take advise a little more seriously from someone who isn't illiterate and can actually spell. I wouldn't listen to anyone who sounds like they didn't attend many classes at school, not the sharpest tool in the box are you.

      • Canelo vs Jacobs will do pretty good numbers because it's probably going to be the best mainstream fight of the year and really one of the only 50-50 fights of the year. There's Gassiev vs Usyk which is no mainstream and not PPV but it is 50-50. The only other good fights I see are Pacquiao vs Matthyse and Garcia vs Porter. I'm sure GGG will fight again but probably against some bum. And I don't think Wilder-Joshua will happen this year which would've been the biggest, richest fight of the year.

Jacobs is the only person who can say that they beat golovkin. If he could beat golovkin as easily as he did, imagine what he could do to that ginger

If you’d bothered to read any of my other posts on this thread you’d see that I’d love this fight to get made.
It’s not denial, I come here for all my boxing news and while I have since read reports elsewhere containing the comments from Hearn there was nothing on boxing scene at the time i posted.
Anyway it’s canelos fault for being such a pampered diva these days that fans are skeptical he would take a fight that may make him look bad.

Yeah, they're coming off a 70/30 with Canelo. I don't think the OG should get 50/50, either. I would settle for 65/35 or 60/40 if I were him.

I think the risk of him or Canelo losing is real. Maybe he thinks the fight can wait but I would rather not risk it.

Hopefully both guys engage in meaningful fights going forward.
I like Golovkin fights too but I call it as I see it. He's not getting any younger and I could see a loss to Charlo, Jacobs rematch and even BJS - so take the money while you can and then fight those mandatories.

it will only be funny to ggg fans...
i hardly doubt jacobs blatantly prices him self out like that...

I am agreeing with you. It isn't just him possibly losing but Canelo too. If Canelo were to fight Jacobs and get beat that would hurt Golovkin in a rematch.

If Golovkin does not fight Canelo, I'm thinking he fight Derevy and then Murata. After that I don't know. Depends what happens with Canelo. There is BJS (would be good money fight but can they come to an agreement), Jacobs and the Charlo. I'd like to see Charlo but I think he is on the bottom of the totem pole based on $ potential.

                      Golovkin at 50/50, even if you go conservative and project only 1.2m PPVs, you're looking at 1.2m*$70 = 84m/2 = 42m * 50% = 21m.
canelo already walked away from negotiations in the cotto fight only to fight kirkland in regular hbo, his ego is much bigger than your math...
still i think they will cancel any negotiations with jacobs if ggg takes a 60-40 split... but no chance at 50-50... canelo looked at cotto as a legend, i dont think he has that much respect for ggg after all the trash talk lately...
