Definitely PPV. This is a very interesting fight. Both will make good money. Lots of storylines to this fight. Can Canelo beat a big, athletic middleweight? Will Danny's chin hold up and so on? This fight will give Jacobs great exposure among Latinos. I can see the Puerto Rican Community in New York supporting Jacobs and other Latinos pulling for Canelo. For sure the Brits will be tuned in. Lot's of good promotional possibilities. This is a more interesting fight than a GGG rematch. Thank goodness, we will not have to read about all the whining and complaining from GGG, Abel Sanchez, and the GGG cheerleaders in the run-up to the fight. I suspect that Jacobs and his folks will strike a classy tone, for sure we will be spared a desperate whinny one.
So you think Canelo will get a bigger purse fighting Jacobs than for fighting Golovkin. Interesting.
Regarding storylines I expect there to be one of how Canelo drained Jacobs down to his costum 155 lb division.
Jacobs is dangerous, but he will be even more dangerous because Canelo has not fought since last September.
A tune up against Saunders or Lemiuex would’ve been wise imo. But I guess Canelo is just eager for a big fight asap.
Acually NO! It was just GGG. Go read Dan Rafeals ESPN article saying Loeffler, Canelo, and Oscar were all working on a Compromise. It was just GGG not coming down from 50/50 split. Loeffler right now is probably PISSED at losing this $20,000,000 GGG was gonna get and his % of it.

More than 50/50 with GGG most likely. Dont really care either. GGG killed the fight move on. Worry about who GGG fights next. Hope its not another Vanes type.
But who knows?? Maybe it will be another no hoper praying that Jacobs/Canelo tanks and they come crawling back to GGG saying 50/50 does now seem fair.
It goes both ways: Canelo isn't going to make as much money fighting anyone else at MW, and the OG Triple G won't make nearly the same amount fighting another MW, either.
I vote for OG taking a 65/35 or 60/40 split, which is better than the first fight's 70/30 split. Even at 65/35, OG makes a ton of cash.
If he beats Canelo, then GGG solidifies himself as the top dog and becomes, or gets closer to, the A side.
If he was out for a year due to injury, he would get a pass, but since it was due to PEDs...nah! Not only that, look at the 3 fights he had prior to GGG! He had to come back strong, and Jacobs does the trick for me! I would've been cool with Saunders, Charlo, or Andrade too!
BINGO! If it was other than PED's I would be ok with Spike. He choses Spike next I wont watch the fight and im done being a Canelo fan. Thats strike 3 with me.
Strike 1 All that Real MexiCANS dont fuc around and calling GGG in the ring.
Strike 2 Peds. Either by tainted meat or not. Still he ***ed up.
Strike 3 Picking Spike who is ranked #19 at MW. You know who is #20??? Vanes on BoxingRec
Im out if he does that sht. Win or Lose to Jacobs I'll still be a fan. And so will most MexiCANS and REAL boxing fans.

GGG is NOT coming off of the 50/50. Loeffler is even siding with Canelo and Oscar on this one.
