Had a better chance suing if he didn't decide to fight Vanes. And how can you sue when he DIDN"T lose his payday he has the same offer actually slightly better on the table he is the one refusing to take it. Can't sue because you want more money. He won't win that shyt and it will just be locked up in courts for years. He didn't lose the 20M payday it was just moved from May to Sept it would be 1 thing if Golden Boy took the offer off the table or lowered the amount. He's trying to squeeze more money that he is not worth. Courts will throw that shyt out.

And I could care less what Oscar says Hearn Jacobs own promoter already told ESPN the story is true and that Golden Boy sent them a official offer to fight in Sept. So even if you don't believe Oscar Hearn said they have a contract right now. And even took a shot at GGG saying we won't be difficult and we know our value basically telling the world GGG is being difficult and doesn't know his value pricing himself out. LMAO

Canelo's name alone is good for 300-500k buys tops so Oscar needs to stop acting like Canelo's last name is Mayweather or something cuz it's not. Now I never said GGG should get 50% but if we crunch all the numbers the split should be more like 55/45
Exactly what numbers are you crunching to get 55/45? Are you really saying GGG is responsible for nearly half of the revenue?

It seems to me, by your own admission with your numbers narrative, people pay to see Canelo fight big fights. The Chavez fight is probably the best example of that.

      • I am 100% convinced that GGG does not want this fight. For whatever reason. He is clearly pricing himself out. I fear what I always thought of GGG is and was always true...He likes easier fights. He may have seemed to us that Canelo's punches were not hurting him but maybe they hurt him more that we thought.

Seems like a few posters want to run a Spike narrative to supplement a Alvarez ducking GGG angle. Unfortunately for them, it's kinda hard to knock Alvarez and GBP if they say GGG ain worth 50% so we're fighting Jacobs, they guy who also took GGG the distance and won in the eyes of many fans.

Only a couple thousand paid to see him fight in may in a tiny stubhub that was 1/3 empty. 97K-150K buy his ppvs. They said they were boycotting canelo fights yet canelo/chavez last year sold 1M ppvs. GGG fans are irrelevant, small crowd of delusional fans that don't even buy ppv anyway. Canelo/Jacobs will sell and make a lot of money while GGG can go fight his mandatories for 1M at an empty stubhub.
I agree. There is something strange about GGG’s posse. Judging from their off the wall comments, I am beginning to believe that most don’t even live in the U.S.

you have to consider I'm talking resume...not wins/losses either perceived or real.....im talking about the fighters on the resume

consider that golovkin and Floyd were both considered p4p #1(at worst golovkin was top 3 when they fought)....canelos resume spans 3 divisions with several HOF fighters on it.....the only HOF on g's resume is canelo who is still only 27...conversely the best fighter on G's resume had 0 wins at the full 160 limit
The best fight on GGG's resume was Canelo and he beat him. Once again HOF or not those guys Canelo faced were OVER THE HILL...

If Canelo only did 300k with Smith and 900k With Cotto but 1.5m with GGG then what does that tell you? Answer your own question...

Jacobs will probably outbox Canelo throughout the fight and then one great hit Canelo takes him down and out. Canelo has a GREAT body punch and almost all his combos have at least one. I expect that to slow Jacobs down in the later rounds and then out.

                  If had to bet

Jacobs by UD or Canelo by TKO.

Canelo has great head movement and made GGG miss over 500 times. Plus he showed he has a GREAT chin. So dont see a Jacobs TKO unless Canelo is really rusted and sloppy.
Makes sense. Jacobs is huge. I suspect that Canelo will negotiate a limit on weight the neight of the fight. If Jacobs does not hurt Canelo early in the fight, I think Canelo will surprise folks and stalk Jacobs with brutal combos until they stop the fight.

the best fight on gggs resume was a guy that got whitewashed by a past his prime, featherfisted, WW in Floyd......the best guy on ggg's resume had 0 wins againt MWs......

and golovkin didn't win...I don't count perceived wins or wins claimed by fans....best he got was a draw against his best opponent

canelo has 3 hall of famers on his resume and a guy who was considered the top dog at 154 for some time....

golovkin has a win over Jacobs and a draw against canelo
