Don't even take this dude seriously...he's got a video game fighter in his avatar, not even the real picture of sonny liston. This guy probably only knows the little he does know about the sport through the video game.

lol, I know more about boxing than you ever will.

But back to the subject at hand:

All of that is circumstancial to the round at hand. You make it seem like there's a specific number of punches that must of been landed, which isn't the case. It's all to the discreation of the Judges.

Personally, I scored the round even since the ref ruled "no KD," however with or without the KD a judge could've easily scored it 10-9 for Zab, and it would've been justified.

you're dumbass does not seem to understand this...unless the person who got knocked down (in this case, Mayweather) thoroughly dominated the rest of the round then it would be a 10-9. If the round was pretty even then it is definitely a 10-8. Got it?!

Please tell me where in the rules of boxing it states this.

It's to the DISCRETION OF THE JUDGES. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THEY MIGHT THINK DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU.

how many times have you seen a 10-9 when the opponent who was knocked down didnt dominate at all? Just shutup for a bit, gamer.

What i was trying to say is that Floyd's glove touched the canvas.. That's all. Like when B-Hop hit Tarver and his glove touched..

What don't you understand about the Judges, Fighters, Punches, EVERYTHING being circumstancial to the fight?

When you look at that round, a very very tight close competitive round that could've easily been scored 10-10 without the KD, and then you take the extra point with the KD, you have yourself a 10-9 round.

I'm not saying someone shouldn't of scored it a 10-8 round for Zab... I'm just saying scoring it 10-9 with the KD, is also justified.

On the subject of Judah-Mayweather that you guys are discussing. I think the amount you have to make up to get back the point lost from the KD depends on the KD.

A flash KD, and you just have to make a decent comeback in the round to get that point back, and if you come back to dominate, then it could be an even round, or even 10-9 in your favor, if you hurt the other fighter worse than you were hurt/stunned. (ie. Wlad-TOS- that was a flash KD and Wlad came back after TOS and hurt him later in the round- judges scored it 10-9).

Floyd was definitely stunned and knocked off-balance, and it was a KD, but not one where he couldn't have salvaged that lost point with a mild comeback in the round.

But, for a guy campaigning to stay P4P #1, I don't think the Judah win was really that impressive. Floyd made the fight because of the money, and because he knew he could win. That's why he went ahead with it even though Judah got beat by a nobody. When you're P4P #1 fighting a guy who just got beat by a nobody, then you better dominate totally. Floyd didn't and even got knocked down. It even seemed like Judah might have what it took to beat him until he gassed out. It was a solid win for Mayweather, but not a P4P #1 win- no way.

If he doesn't sign to fight Margarito, then we'll all know why.
