shts been wayy to quiet lately??? On both sides. This tells me their in serious negotiations. And probably very close

It's a rematch that doesn't need months of promotion, so 2 weeks shouldn't be a problem! Did you see where Jermell said GBP offered the twins a contract? GGG better move quick! I don't think Jermall would sign, unless he's getting that fight with Canelo in September!

Its gonna be GGG at 35-40% split. Charlos makes sense. Sign on to promise to fight Canelo in May. 2019 And pit brother against Jaime on the Sept. undercard if he beats Trout.

That would be a hell of a GREAT card.

If i was a fighter around 160lbs. I would sign with GB in a heartbeat. One fight with Canelo is worth at LEAST 10 fights elsewhere. AND have chance to be on a couple of PPV cards for exposure.

I doubt Jermall would sign if the rematch is going to happen! What if GGG wins? For Jermell, there's not much at GBP @ 154 besides Munguia. He could get that fight without signing to GBP! At least I hope! I think people are sleeping on Ringstar (Richard Schaefer). I would've thought Mikey would be there by now! That WBSS @ 140 is going to be lit!

I've never seen Omar in a boring fight! What's up with his legal situation? Would love to see Omar Figueroa Jr. vs. Jose Ramirez @ 140! That would be a StubHub Classic!

I see it that way because Ggg actually had precisely the same options as Canelo.
Neither of them can earn anything like the money fighting anyone else.
But the difference is that GGG cares about the belts. He wants to unify. He fought J and has tried to fight S.

together... GGG will make about 25mil, Canelo will make about 50mil

apart... Golovkin will make 2mil, and Canelo will make 15mil

Golovkin will make 10x more with Canelo, and Canelo will make 2-3x more with Golovkin..... so, Golovkin fighting anyone else is totally pointless

and if he refuses to fight Canelo over money, Golovkin only has one other option..... because the WBC have ordered him to fight his mandatory, Charlo..... who is dangerous, but not a draw..... one of those pointless 2mil fights

the ONLY reason why it could possibly benefit Golovkin to fight anyone else other than Canelo..... is to select a no-hoper to ensure that he breaks Hopkins record, before cashing out with Canelo, and then retiring..... and that is exactly what I suspect they are doing, which is why they ALL excitedly mentioned Murata immediately following the Vanes fight

that could not be a coincidence, they must have discussed Murata already

..... but yea, Sulaiman slammed the door shut on that option, by ordering Golovkin to fight Charlo if he does not sign to fight Canelo

You’re so wrong they need each other. If the money is split 50-50, then it gives Canelo and GGG $35-$45 mil each.
If Golovkin walks away from the negotiations Canelo will end up fighting Spike or Lemieux. He might be lucky to bring in $10 mil. If the money is split 80-20 then it gives Canelo $8 mil. You do the math.

I already did.....

Golovkin only has TWO options.....

..... fighting Canelo for $25mil > fighting Charlo for $2mil

his third option is fighting a NO-HOPER to break Hopkins record, which would result in him being stripped by the WBC, before cashing out with Canelo and then retiring..... which they may well do
