Yes, AJ said gimme 50mil and I will sign tomorrow but he never said he will fight in US. Though, that's by the way.
Both fighters have said things that every fan has a thing or two to hold on to to defend their claims.
I can remember wilder also said that I can fight anywhere, it's not all about the money, I just want to unify the division and there will be only one name. It's all fresh in our memory.
Now, all said and done, we cannot deny the fact that AJ is still the A side irrespective of how much team wilder is willing to offer.
Now, why the fuss about fighting in the UK first? It's a two way fight, UK and US.
They should agree or allow the fans focus on other fights.

I will not pretend that we have covered ourself in glory through these discussions because we haven’t. Also the reason for Joshua wanting the fight in the U.K. is b#ll**** but regardless of the true reason he is in the driving seat in calling the shots. Now Deontay has been talking non stop for a year telling us he is more than willing to beat Josh in the U.K. it’s not about the money he says it’s about one face ,one name blah blah. However I won’t hold him to that because it should be about the money and he should be paid for travelling. However there should be no procrastination on Deontay’s part he has asked for this moment. Before these negotiations started you ask me an honest question.... who do you think wants this fight more? I would hand on my heart say Deontay. He should. He is looking at his counterpart earning millions, the glory the sponsors the adulation from fans. He is supposed to be chomping at the bit. Yet he wants the fight in America now?? That 50 million offer although amazing and Joshua looked like an absolute clown ,going back on his brag ,but that ship has sailed. Now the onus is on Deontay as he has been talking for the longest and financially it’s in his best interest... what I think or what anyone thinks Deontay deserves is irrelevant. He has the opportunity to make himself into a superstar with potentially one right hand with a robotic person that doesn’t move his head . what is he waiting for? AJ didn't accept anything. Try and get your head around this astounding fact ... there is an another world which exists outside the internet and social media. It's called "reality" and it's where business deals and fight negotiations actually take place.

I do want the fight, but the fact is AJ doesn't need to bend to Wilder's demands, it is what it is, lots of fights out there for AJ and ones that will satisfy his fans, Povetkin is better than Wilder IMO and can possibly chin AJ, it's a good fight. Whyte sells itself in the UK, Fury is a much bigger fight for AJ than Wilder is, and those 3 fights are all top names and fights.

It's obvious who needs who here..... but I hope the fight happens next or the fight after.... we don't always get what we want.

After Parker, no other opponent brings to the table what Wilder does which is a strap. It's like how Gennady doesn't really need Canelo because he has all the straps but if Canelo could succeed in lifting Billy Joe Saunders belt then he becomes a thorn in Golovkin's side again. But I do agree with some that the fight may be bigger after another tuneup and I realize Povetkin is not a slob.

All they've done is get our hopes up to knock them down. For shame!
Looks to me like Hearn and Joshua have always intended to lowball Joshua and force him to agree to it if he wants the fight, or to face Povetkin next. I've explained that Joshua has more to gain by postponing it because of the belief of some that Joshua will continue to improve more than Wilder will.

AJ will travel to America to face big baby miller.. if fact.. they would like to face miller in his backyard.. in Brooklyn. AJ and hearn has said they are tired of overpaying opponents.. and is not going to overpay wilder.. Hearn said parker was a harder fight than wilder.. an that AJ can KO wilder in 3rds! AJ has said wilder is too light.. and that he will eat him.. AJ has said "if this is a hundred million dollar fight.. and they are comfortable with taking 60/40.. I'll take 50/50 but give me 50 million guarantee and I will take that fight tomorrow, I swear" then hearns said its just a P.R stunt.. then.. we want to take a 20 million paycut to have it in the u.k.. wtf!?!?!? Two points. One, watch the interview he said it, he was saying it tongue in cheek. Also clearly not expecting it to happen either though. But money isn’t the single factor and let’s be real here, Joshua is going to be less swayed by money for this fight given the % increase pay is far higher for wilder than Joshua

I used to think AJ would beat Wilder's ass but after watching both fighters last fight and AJ backpedaling after requesting 50 million I strongly feel that not only will Wilder beat AJ's ass but AJ I'd afraid of Wilder. That's all there is to it!
