Hopefully all are going to go smooth for Chocolatito and he can get back into the ring.

What a shame, the visa situation, HBO dropped him, trainer died.

Get this man what he deserves, give him the chance to come back. Let him show you his greatness, give him a fight. Give him a platform, let him fight.

He never made any excuses, he took his losses like a man. Now it's time to treat him like a man and give him the benefit of the doubt. He earned it.

K2 Promotions managing director Tom Loeffler, had just started to agree to work with Al Hayman. Everyone knows Hayman was the advisor to Mayweather.

In 2016, Chocolatito was the pound for pound king at 46-0. He just came off a great 12 round fight against Carlos Cuadras. Loeffler was going to set up the rematch with Cuadras and then he started dealing with Haymon. And I believe Haymon interfered and advised Loeffler to set up the fight with Wsaksil Wangek. Styles make fights and I believe this was a bad match up for Chocolatito.

I also believe Hayman interfered to help Mayweather get to 49-0 first. If the match with Cuadras was set up, it’s 47-0 and maybe the match with Wangek never happens. And maybe he gets to 49-0 with a couple other fights. I just think they set him up to fail in the end.

Sisraket was his WBC mandatory, had nothing to do with Haymon or any other conspiracy theories. Loeffler and HBO did a great job for Roman Gonzalez and finally got him the publicity and recognition that he deserved. Loeffler also made him the highest paid boxer in the Flyweight division. Roman was a great champion before he got on HBO, but never considered for top PFP until he got the main stream exposure

He may indeed have damage, but him being required to get test done does not = "his brain is gone".
Seems like this forum has become flooded with casual trash lately.
Spot on Redd, these casuals only experience of fighting must be the fight night games. They don't realise punches in real life cause brain damage and suspensions following ko losses they think boxers are made of titanium and immune to any damage physical or mental.

I agree wholeheartedly. It seems with every fight this place gets worse and worse. The worst kind of casuals are overflowing the site. Nutthuggers/haters who are fans of few men but hate on everything else. Toxic.

The reason I’m phasing out of the site now. Any intelligent discussion and the idiots try to derail it with nonsense and agendas.

you butt hurt that people recognized gonzalez's greatness aren't you? he was number 1 on every pound for pound list so you better get over it. he's a certified hall of famer who reached the top of his sport and brought a spotlight on the lower weight classes no one can deny that.
