Let's be honest, the way we boxing fans are, quitting early with an injury no one can see just isn't an option. I'm wondering though if fighting with that injury may have cost him his career.

Unfortunately its a bad injury for athletes, if its a gradual wear and tear issue then 100% recovery is unlikely, i was really looking forward to him v mikey, oh well, **** happens, maybe he will get lucky and get back to where he is now, who knows

Wait till Nov/Dec for next fight Lomo.....

Take the full 8 weeks to heal followed by rehab and then fight later. He's been pretty active the rest will do him some good. No need to rush back in the ring and he can do 3 fights in 2019. Honestly would be ok with Lomo fighting number 10 fighter in division coming off injury.

For some reason, that didn't happen with Pacquiao. Hmmmm

          Ps. Pacquiao lost.
You should have watched the fight in slow motion without Roy Jones' FIomo-ing.

Lol. Yea. Slomo with no flowwmoes at the Kokomo surrounded by the Filipino mafioso, then the magic works.

Without Roy flowwmoing, And the other two guys who are the biggest flowwmoes of all, Kellerman and Lampley flowwmoing. And Harold Letterman and that biased 117-111 scorecard. How could all of them say it was an easy decision for Floyd????

              Unless of course it was!

“Based on the result of the surgical repair, we are optimistic for an excellent prognosis and for him to return to competition at his previous level of performance.”
That’s what I like to hear.

Vasyl Lomachenko Undergoes Successful Shoulder Surgery

Glad to hear that the surgery went well. Loma is expecting to be trained and back in fighting shape by October, and hopefully fight in December.

                  Vasyl Lomachenko undergoes successful surgery

Vasyl Lomachenko underwent a successful surgery today in Los Angeles to repair a torn labrum, with Dr. Neal ElAttrache and promoter Bob Arum both telling ESPN that it went well.

                  From Arum:

“The operation was a big success and the doctor was extraordinarily pleased with how it went, so that’s a relief. We have a kid here who is tough as nails and we have the best orthopedic surgeon in the world, so I figured everything would be OK. He’s going to rest [on Thursday] and then he’ll start his rehab on Friday. He’ll be here in Los Angeles for about a week and then he’ll go back to Ukraine and we’ll monitor him. It’s all good.”

Dr. ElAttrache said there were “no surprises.”

                  [.....]
